At Home Workout Motivation

At-home-workout-motivation

I have a lot of friends getting married in the next few months. No seriously, Andrew and I have three out of town weddings to attend between May and November, not to mention four or so weddings in Dallas. All of these weddings and the summer months in general bring about the the need to feel better in cute cocktail dresses and bathing suits. While I feel very lucky to have a flexible schedule that allows me to go take a workout class or go for a morning run I know not everyone has the same kind of schedule. One thing I love to have on hand is great at home workout options for some good at home workout motivation.

If you are in need of at home workout motivation I have your answer. Les Mills On Demand is a great way to get truly fabulous at home workouts without leaving the comfort of your living room. This means if it’s snowing or raining out and you just can’t bring yourself to get out of the house you are covered. If you are a mom trying to get back in shape post baby but you only have those 30 minutes to an hour of naptime this is perfect for you. This is great for anyone wanting to get in shape for wedding season or bikini season!

Les Mills On Demand is an online streaming service that you can subscribe to. Les Mills On Demand offers a selection of the most popular classes. Some of my favorites are BODYPUMP (strength), CXWORX (core), LES MILLS GRIT (HIIT), SH’BAM (dance), RPM (indoor cycle), BODYBALANCE (yoga), BODYCOMBAT (combat), BORN TO MOVE as well LES MILLS DANCE. I have been a BODYPUMP lover for about 5 years and having access to BODYPUMP workouts at home is AMAZING!

Les Mills On Demand has 30 – 50 minute workouts – convenient for home use. It is available in the US, UK, and Nordic regions. There is a free 10-day trial available to all first time users which is nice because you can try it out before you commit.

Having something “On Demand” is great for at home workout motivation because you can throw on your workout clothes and shoes and do a workout in the morning before you get ready for work, after work, on the weekend, and even if the weather outside is icky and you just don’t feel like driving in it (my biggest excuse).

What is your at home workout motivation?

This post is sponsored by Les Mills and I have been gifted a 30 day free trial of Les Mills on Demand as well as compensation. However all opinions are my own and this is a brand I truly love!

This sounds great! It would make things so much easier as a SAHM to have the workouts streaming rather than getting all the kids to a gym. Thank you!

I’ve been putting my sports bra on first thing in the morning so I’m all ready to go! Then I’ve been filling my Pinterest board with my favorite workouts, so I have something all ready and workouts that I enjoy.

  5. I’m pretty terrible about working out at home but I do have a few must-have pieces that make that easier – a medicine ball, a stability ball, and a few resistance bands. Adding in a workout video or yoga flow from time to time in the comfort of my home works, but not if I try to make that the ONLY way I get in workouts.

  6. I LOVE BodyPump and I just did BodyCombat yesterday for the first time! I am in a lot of pain following it but I thoroughly enjoyed it! They were proper classes as I am back home at the moment but when I am at Uni I struggle to find a decent gym so I have often though about doing Les Mills On Demand! This post has made me more sure about doing it – thanks!

This is really awesome. I used to go to BodyPump and BodyCombat classes. I got obsessed with BodyCombat. Wondering, though, how do you do RPM without a spin bike?

I’d love to try this out! I actually work from home so there are days when I simply need to hit up the gym, BUT then there are snow days and even days when I’m so fried from computer work that I’d love to be able to have a hard-core at-home workout. Thanks for sharing!
