Hey Friends! If you follow me on Twitter I have talked a little about a trip Andrew and I have coming up. Well tomorrow we are leaving for Ft. Lauderdale and Sunday we are setting sail on the Regal Princess going to The Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten! I am so blessed to be asked by Princess Cruises to take this trip and so lucky that I get to bring Andrew with me. We sure could use a vacation, so this timing was great! Neither of us have been on a cruise, so this entire experience will be lots of firsts. I wanted to share my cruise packing list with you guys. This obviously isn’t everything I am taking but it’s a lot of the important things!
During the day/Pool and Port: We have 3 port days so those days will be swimsuits, cover-ups, and sandals! I snagged 3 swimsuits. 2 from Target mix and match and this adorable one piece from Nordstrom that is SUPER flattering! The one pictured above but I got it in teal. I also snagged two adorable cover ups. The above white one is beyond comfortable and so great because it will go with all of my swimsuits. I also have a black one I got at Old Navy last summer!
During the day relaxing time/spa: The gray shorts above are from Nordstrom and quite possibly the most comfortable shorts I have ever put on. Between that and a ton of Lululemon items I am covered for lounging and relaxing either in our room, on the balcony, around the ship or in the Spa. Oh yes, there will be a spa day! My favorite Lululemon pieces to lounge in are the swiftly tech racer back tanks, tracker shorts and loose long sleeves.
Night time fun/dinners: We have two formal nights on the ship, as well as 5 semi formal nights. I purchased 4 dresses for the trip. Two of the ones above and 2 others. All from Nordstrom. I also plan to use a few dresses I already had. The Lilly Pulitzer one above screamed cruise to me. The pattern is so fun and playful! The longer dress is great for a formal night. This dress here is also a fabulous formal night dress. I love the black lace.
Accessories: For a trip like this I honestly didn’t pack too many accessories. One small cross body purse, a tote for day time, 2 pairs of earrings that go with pretty much anything, one necklace, and one pair of classic sunglasses. I also packed a wrap because I hear the deck can get cool at night. These things can all be interchanged so easily with every outfit. I think the key is packing accessories that are subtle enough and also go with everything.
Of course I have sun screen, my iPad, bug spray, and all the essential toiletries.
Have you been on a cruise? Is there something I am missing from my cruise packing list?
Love that pretty maxi-dress! I would love to go on another cruise and eat all the yummy foods, bask in the sun, and take in the beauty of the islands! Have an amazing time (or put me in your suite case…that works too).
Love the white coverall. Think of taking a cruise later this year. This is gonna come in handy. I cannot wait to read about your adventures.
Ok, I have to say I love all of them. I think you are very accurate! I love that maxi dress and that loose long sleeve. Great tips! Thanks for sharing.
Perfect list I’m so jealous !! Have fun !!
Oh, this makes me want to cruise right now! I’m stuck in cold Kentucky! Love the list.
That coverup is so cute! I’ve never been on a cruise but I definitely want to one day. Have fun!
Love the dresses you chose! So cute! Have a great trip 🙂
I leave for a cruise in about 3 weeks! Great tip on the accessories, I am always tempted to overpack.
I love your choices! I would recommend that you make sure your shoes for the formal nights are comfortable, especially since you will be wearing them for several nights in a short amount of time.
I’m in love with that one piece!! Cute one pieces can be so tricky, but that one is super cute. Hope you guys have a fabulous time!
That black swimsuit is SOOOOOO cute. I can’t get over it!
Oh I really hope I make it to a cruise someday!
I love the Kiehl’s sunscreen! I just wish it wasn’t so expensive! Sounds like you are all ready to go!

love your list. I wasn’t on a cruise holiday jet but planning to go and your list will help me a lot to be well packed 🙂
That suit is sooo cute! It looks like it would be super flattering!
What a great list to pack! I have never been on a cruise, but if I do, I will keep this in mind!
Thanks for this! I’m hoping to surprise my Andrew with a cruise in the near future and this is definitely helpful!
I would love to go on a cruize, but the one I want to go on is in Alaska, not sure if the swimsuits would be the thing I would take. If I only had the body to wear them. That was many many years ago.
I’m loving the one-piece swimsuit – it looks great and probably helps to hide some areas of mine that are of concern LOL!
I am CRAZY jealous of you, I LOVE cruises! You are going to have a BLAST!
Looks like some great stuff! I want to go on a cruise again sooo badly! Swimsuits and cover ups and definitely a must! Love that newspaper print tote! Comfortable shoes, mostly flats for the boat, easier in case you’re in rough water at all. 🙂
Such fun and pretty things for a cruise! I love the ear rings and the dress!!!
That maxi dress is gorgeous! I’ve never been on a cruise but would love to try one someday. I’m excited to hear about your experience on this one! Have so much fun! 🙂
I’ve never been on a cruise, but it sounds like it’s going to be a great one. I love that swimsuit. It’s so cute!
Cruises are so much fun!
I want to go on another soon.
Have fun 🙂

Have a blast on your holiday! I’ve never been on a cruise but they sure sound like fun! I hope you guys enjoy yourselves!
Oh! How lucky you are! Going on a cruise is one of the things I have on my fairly short bucket list. Wishing you both a wonderful time! 🙂
Like this swimsuit 🙂
