What’s In My Gym Bag + Giveaway

I am one of those nosy people who loves posts and videos about what’s in people’s handbags, makeup bags, gym bags, etc. I just think it’s such a fun peak into someone’s life. Later this week I am sharing some pool/beach bag essentials, but today I am sharing what’s in my gym bag. PLUS I have a really fantastic giveaway for you, so make sure to check it out.

First off, my gym bag. I love love love this bag. It’s from Lululemon and was a bit of a splurge. However, it’s very roomy and it’s also a good bag to take on weekends away etc.

Inside of said gym bag I keep a lot of things permanently and there are others I switch out when need be.

The things I always have in there are extra hair ties, a headband, and bobby pins. Then I have Dove Dry Deodorant Spray, Lush Dirty Spray, Lush Lip Scrub, Bite Agave Lip Mask, a brush, and facial cleansing wipes. These things are for when I need a post gym refresh for when I am not going right home. More often then not I have errands, or I am grabbing coffee with someone, so I like to look and smell presentable.

I try to keep extra socks and a pullover in my gym bag for when it’s chilly or rainy. One time my socks got super wet in the rain and I swore I would always from that day on have extras. Lessons learned.

I then I have headphones, because who wouldn’t have headphones at the gym? I have an arm band for my iPhone for when I need to be hands free. I always take water and snacks too.

The snack part switches up every now and then but lately I have been loving Orchard Valley Harvest Snacks. When we got these in the mail, Andrew and I immediately tried every flavor and I became obsessed! The Cranberry Almond Cashew are my favorites, and the Dark Chocolate Almonds are amazing too. I hate being hungry after a workout and having really yummy and filling snacks on hand is a must!

These are a great alternative to chips and other impulse purchases like candy. Why negate the workout you just had? Grab & Go and Multi Pack sizes of Cranberry Almond Cashew Trail Mix, Dark Chocolate Almonds, and Chocolate Raisin Nut Trail Mix are now available in the produce section of Walmart, among the fruits, vegetables, and other products that help promote a healthier lifestyle. I truly love them and I would not speak so highly of them if I didn’t.

To help get you excited about summer I am offering you guys the #OVHsnacks summer living reader giveaway (valued at over $450), which will include:

  1. I’m definitely commenting as a part of the giveaway but I’m excited to comment anyways! I read your blog very often and use a lot of tips and tricks that you post for bloggers. Anyways, a summer workout that I’m excited to attempt (keyword) is some Kayla Itsines stuff.

  7. I love the color of that bag. I don’t do much outdoors in the summer once heat and humidity set in I can’t breathe.

  12. Those trail mixes look so yummy! I would rather have them in my bag than hard candy and crackers. It looks like you have everything you’d need all in one bag. Great planning skills there!

  14. I’ve gotten spoiled as my building as a gym so I no longer need to bring a bag with me BUT a well stocked bag is important especially if you work out either before or after work.

  20. Headphones and hair ties are a must for the gym! I also keep hair ties in my purse, because it’s always the worst feeling not to have one when you really want one.
