The last month of the year… I can’t believe it. It’s time for December Goals! This was the first year I wrote monthly goals on my blog and I am really proud of myself for keeping up with it every month. I do have a post about my 2016 goals and what I accomplished coming up but today I am reflecting on November and setting my December goals. I really hope to continue these posts in 2017!
December Goals
In November I wanted to….
- Read 5 books. It’s a busy month so that seems realistic. I read 3. It was a crazy month with the election, my first baby shower, and Thanksgiving!
- Get most of our pre-baby house list done. we did get a good chunk done! YAY!
- Write thank you notes from my first shower, which is in less than 2 weeks. Accomplished. They were in the mail 2 days after my shower.
- Pass my glucose test. I PASSED! Also the red fruit punch drink is super gross. So glad I don’t have to retake it!
- Get 10 blog posts written for February (his due date is early Feb). I got 7 done. I have the graphics done for everything so thanks Andrew!
- Start getting tax stuff together for January. Nope!
- Start my holiday shopping and try to get most of it done. I have purchased a few things but nowhere near done.
- Have at least one date night with Andrew. It was a crazy month but we did go to a wedding so that counts right?
- Spend more time with my parents. I see mom once a week, which has been great but I need to spend more time with my dad. With Thanksgiving and a baby shower I got to see a lot of my family this month.
- Make a point to call my grandparents at least once a week. Yes I talked to or saw them every week this month!
In December I want to….
- Read 4 books.
- Get the rest of our pre baby list done.
- Start assembling a few baby related products.
- Wash all of the baby clothes, towels, and blankets we have so far.
- Write 10 more posts for February and March
- Enjoy the holidays without being stressed
- Cut myself some slack at the gym. I am in my 8th month of pregnancy and I have worked out at least 5 days a week the entire time but I need to rest more.
- Work on tax stuff.
- Donate items around the house, food, and take Christmas gifts to the kiddos we chose from the tree.
I feel like these are pretty reasonable!
I would love to know what some of your December Goals are! Share below!
One of my December Goal is to have a new pair of heels. I just want to & I don’t even know why
Great post ! Hope you will have a good month 🙂
xoxo,
Colette
Every time I read your goal posts I am super impressed with how well you stick to your goals! Discipline is not my strong suit and I admire that you get a lot of your goals accomplished!
This is amazing post! I’m so happy because of you! Baby is coming! My goals for December are to finish all my job for my blog for this year and to buy presents for my family & friends. Thank you for sharing this post.
I wish you all the best!
Marko

You’re on a roll! Keep up the awesome work 🙂 Baby will be here before you know it!
I love that you’re able to get so much writing ahead of time! That’s seriously goals for me. I can get a week or so ahead, but it’s hard when I aim for every post to be at least 500-800 words if not more! LOL Good luck with your goals!
Awesome goals! I’d love to get all my content for January written! 🙂
Great goals and good job preparing for baby! My goals include Redesigning my launch and relaunching, buying Christmas Presents (obviously) haha, getting a month ahead of my blog posts and finding a new job (my boss lost his election)
I love goal setting. I usually do several big goal posts in January each year so that I lay out my strategy in each category. I just finished looking back at 2016 to write my upcoming post for how much I accomplished. I’m a firm believer of setting and reviewing goals every month. Great job on getting your February posts almost done!
“Cut myself some slack at the gym. I am in my 8th month of pregnancy and I have worked out at least 5 days a week the entire time but I need to rest more.” What?! You are a beast!! Go girl and congrats again! I have so many goals for December but the #1 is to recover from my injury. Health before anything.
You are amazing! You always amaze me with your monthly goals. I know you’ll knock these out this month and continue to do so in 2017. I definitely need to plan blog posts in advance like that! I hope you take lots of time to rest and enjoy the holiday season!
That tree is seriously #goals!
Gorgeous tree. My main December goal is to crack down on my eating habits lol. I’m trying not to gain a ton of winter weight! So proud of you for hitting most of your goals 🙂
You will pass that glucose test with flying colors! These are all such great goals!
Way to rock last month! You had a lot of goals, and did really well! I basically failed November entirely haha. Best of luck this next month, make sure to rest! And congratulations!
I really haven’t made any goals for any month. Well…. maybe one goal would be to be less busy. I can’t keep up with the housework. I blame it all on my Hubs since he likes to travel so much.
Holy… go you! I feel like you slayed those goals for November! And working out five days a week while in your 8th month–damn girl! BUT do take it easy on yourself. So exciting, baby is almost here!
Wow. You’ve done a pretty good job with your November goals! What books did you read? I usually read 3 ave a month but last month only did 1 (Girl on the Train and only bec I love Emily Blunt). And holy cow you work out more than me lol. So this month…I need to rethink blog strategy and other stuff for 2017. Maybe. December is always hard – too many things going on!
Looks like you did a great job achieving what you wanted this last month! I impressed by how many books you’re getting through! I’ve been reading a SUPER long one the past month and it’s taking me ages to get through – but not for lack of interest!
It’s hard to believe your baby will be here soon! Good luck with your December goals!

What books are on your list for the month? I have Kindle Unlimited until the end of December so I’m trying to cram as much in before it expires!
Love that you make these goals! With every pregnancy I did the same, trying to get things all squared away before baby came it was so helpful. I sort of lost track after delivery though. I can’t believe you already have 7 posts for February, I don’t even know what I’m writing tomorrow yet! Good luck with your goals this month!
I wish I could enjoy the holidays without stressing. My daughter’s birthday is December 19th and between thatt, Christmas and everyday stuff, STRESS is my middle name! help me…
Way to go on your November goals! I can’t wait to hear more about the baby 🙂 And wow… a HUGE congrats with those thank you cards. I’m impressed! Good luck on December.
I love your blog and this post. Great job on your goals!
Congrats on sticking with your goals from November and good luck with all your goals for this month, too!
Enjoying the holidays without a lot of stress is something we should ALL be enjoying!
Great job on your goals! You did better than I did! Definitely take it easy at the gym – rest is just as important as fitness. I had to learn that the hard way after I got off bed rest – but you have to take care of yourself too. 🙂 Best of luck with your December goals!
Good job on last month’s goals and I’m sure you’ll kill this months! I am ready to tackle December.
Great goals! Reading more is on my 2017 goals. I’ve been stuck on one book for MONTHS and can’t seem to finish it no matter how hard I try. What books have you been reading? Any recommendations?
What a wonderful goal! I’m glad that you have your own goal this December.
Woah! You have been a busy bee. I love your goals for this month!
I love this idea! Lots of goals but I guess it’s rewarding being able to check off the things you aimed to do. Congratulations and good luck on the next set of goals 🙂
Good luck with all the baby prep! 🙂 Congrats btw!
Your goals are all great! I can’t believe your in your 8th month already. Happy December!
I totally forgot about tax stuff! Thank you!

Really great goals! I need to sit and think about mine as I’m sure I can come up with a few!
Your November was much more successful than mine haha I’d say mine was a train wreck. But it must be so exciting to be so close to your due date! I’m only at 15 weeks so we still have plenty of time although I’m already starting to get stressed about our never-ending baby to do list. I’m hoping to get started on it this month 🙂
Good for you to lay the groundwork for 2017 and to recognize that when the baby arrives, you might have less time to blog. I love to set goals and achieve them. I keep many of mine close to my heart. Happy Holidays!
Good luck on meeting your goals! 4 books in December seems adventurous! I don’t know if I’d be able to do it. lol.
