Happy July (almost)! Fun fact about me: July 4th is my favorite holiday! I love love love it. Fireworks! YES! Pretty excited to dress our little one up all patriotic and stay out way past his bed time to watch some fireworks this weekend! But first, lets share my July goals and see how I did in June! Shall we?
July Goals
In June I wanted to…
- Read 2 books: Yes I did! I actually had more time to read. Thank god for babies sleeping through the night!
- Have 2 dates with Andrew: Not two direct dates BUT we had a family vacation and got to actually have dinner together each night, watch movies, and enjoy solid time together.
- Write posts through August: Mostly done!
- Keep up with workouts, walks and Weight Watchers (as always): Yes I am soooo close to my pre pregnancy weight and I have another 15 lbs on top of that I want to lose.
- Finalize plans for our Chicago trip: Somewhat done!
- Have a fun and relaxing Father’s Day with Andrew and my dad: Yes we had the BEST Father’s Day! So much fun and so relaxing. It was really hot but it was fun!
- Clean out closet/drawers: Making a ton of progress and donated TONS of stuff his month!
- Find a fun class for Liam for the fall (aside from swimming): I am signing him up for a little gym class this fall and music together.
- Work on my Twitter growth: Yes really happy with it.
- Get more current photos framed: Yes but now I need more places to put frames haha!
In July I want to…
- Read 3 books now that I have more time to read
- Keep up with all of the W’s
- Take Liam for daily walks somewhere indoors(like the mall) since its getting too hot for outside walks
- Enjoy July 4th with Andrew and Liam (one of my fav holidays)
- Cook more
- Have two dates with Andrew
- Do a little purging of stuff we don’t need
- Clean out Liam’s closet (yes already!)

I’m so impressed you managed to go through two books, with a baby! I’m going through my second book of June but since today’s the last day of the month, I don’t think I’d be able to finish it. Haha!

In July, I’m hoping to be more active in my online health challenge groups! Sounds like WW is really working for yoU!
Wooo! Chicago trip Chicago trip!!!
Great progress on your goals. I’m impressed that you even have time to read at least one book. And congrats on prewriting so many blog posts.
I’m always in awe of people who can read so many books in a month. I seriously struggle to find time to get through one chapter of a book! Good luck!
I love that you are scheduled through August! #GOALS! I’d like to get to that place this month as well as work on my twitter and Instagram following!
I really need to get ahead on my posts. I should start with two weeks out as a goal.
Love these goals! I definitely want to start reading more in July. It’s a crazy month for me, but it’s definitely worth making the time 🙂 xx

You surely have done a good job of pinpointing and achieving your goals in the various areas. My summer goals include my blog as well. I am making a few changes and I am happy with my progress as well.
I need to start reading more as well, so you inspired me to make that a goal for myself this month! I’m excited to see how your July goals go! 🙂

In July I want to finish cleaning and organizing my basement. I also want to finish putting in the rest of the fence around my patio.
Dang girl! Congrats on reading with a baby!
Happy July 4th! Hope you have a great holiday. I have always enjoyed it too. That is neat about more time to read — 3 books in a month is a great goal!
I am super impressed that you’ve written through posts til August! That’s awesome!
Great goals! I can’t believe that June is already over.
I love how well-rounded your goals are! I never write goal posts. You’ve inspired me to do so for next month!
Great goals this month! My only goals for July are to wake up by 7:30 and take the kids to the pool at least once a week.
You did amazing with your goals last month!!! I need to go through my closets, etc again to get rid of some things. I like to declutter every few months. Good luck with your goals this month!
I would love to have some time to read some books over this summer vacation. I’ve always been an avid reader but I hardly have time to read these days.
Nice job! Way to kill it with your goals! I have a lot of blog goals in mind for July that I want to work on. I am in the process of a blog face lift. 🙂 Good luck with your July goals!
What great goals!!! I have reading more on my goals list as well. Hopefully we both kick butt and tackle that goal
Killing it, girl! Good luck with July’s goals 🙂
These are awesome goals! I want to get posts written through August as well. That’s on my to-do list this week.
In July I just plan on taking it easy for the most part since I’m due to give birth next month, and it’s just too hot out there already. But fireworks, I’m definitely watching some fireworks.
DANG GIRL! You really killed it in June! Great goals 🙂 And good on you for reading more, spending more quality time together as a family, and writing posts through August! I’m hoping to do more cleaning this month, too… so many things that can be discarded, I just need to go through the closets and purge (isn’t that the best feeling ever??).
Hope you had a happy 4th 🙂
Yay for reading books and for working out post-pregnancy. I’m down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but now I’m just trying to get my abs back…ha!
