Summer Skincare Tips

I can’t be the only one who’s skin revolts during summer months, right? I feel like my skin just goes crazy. In the winter months it behaves and in the spring it’s great. I guess the chlorine, heat, sweat, etc just knocks it out. Today I am sharing my fool proof summer skincare tips. If you have summer skin issues like me, this is for you!

Summer Skincare Tips

Get all the gunk off: Just using a cleanser doesn’t really work for me. So I have been loving my Vanity Planet spin for perfect skin! The Spin for Perfect Skin offers a combination of tools for face and body to create a comprehensive skincare routine from head to toe.

Using a universal, single-speed rotation system, the Spin for Perfect Skin effectively removes dead skin cells on face and body to promote cellular rejuvenation at the same time. Spin for Perfect Skin comes with 4 different head brushes, making it the perfect tool for facial or body skin exfoliating and cleansing. Suitable for use on all skin types. As someone with sensitive skin I can tell you that it doesn’t hurt my skin at all. I use my regular cleanser and this brush and my skin feels amazing. All the dirt, gunk, makeup, oils, etc come off and my skin feels amazing! You can get the spin brush now using the code SpinSpring70 for 70% off the spin brush! Awesome deal!

Hydrate: One thing that really helps keep your skin looking great is drinking LOTS of water! I have a post tomorrow talking about this very topic so make sure to check it out. I notice the more water I drink the better my skin looks and feels. Plus your entire body just feels better.

Use a good sunscreen: I can’t stress enough how important sunscreen is. I remember using oil to tan as a teenager (dumb!). I have known too many friends to have issues with Melanoma, and you know it’s not worth it. I use SPF 50 because I am very fair skinned and having a tan just isn’t important to me. I also use lip products with SPF as well as CC cream with SPF. Just make sure you are protecting your skin!

I would love to know one of your summer skincare tips! Leave them below!

Vanity Planet has 3 YES 3 awesome deals right now!

  1. It’s really important I think to have a healthy diet as well. As soon as I switched up my diet and ate less junk, my skin cleared up so well!

  4. Love your tips! Since I am a Florida girl, summer is year round. Right now I am suffering from sunburn (even with a good sunblock) and trying to get my skin back in order. I have never used one of the cleansing spinners, I might have to check those out. I do need to drink more water, thanks for the reminder!

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! I don’t go out of the house without it – even on the coldest winter day. We’re the opposite, my skin behaves in the summer and goes crazy dry in the winter lol. Though in the summer I make sure to only wear minimal make (if at all) so as not to suffocate my skin.

Recently, I’ve tried to avoid getting sun on my face entirely. I’ve got a few sun hats that I wear now. I still wear sunscreen, of course, but I want all the protection I can get.

  26. In addition to drinking your daily in-take of water, Seasonal summer foods like watermelon, leafy greens and berries help you stay hydrated in the heat as they have a higher concentration of water.

  27. Drink lots of water in summer, Water keeps skin cells hydrated and working fine so drink water to keep wrinkles away. Water plumps the skin cells up making them look less wrinkled. Also it flushes impurities and toxins out of the system keeping your face fresh and clean and thus aid in reducing the breakouts and acne
