Ways To Gift Your Loved Ones This Valentine’s

Happy Sunday friends! Valentine’s Day is just a week away(ish), and if the red and pink everywhere isn’t a hint I’m sure the commercials are. While I know Valentine’s Day is a day to show that special someone how much you care, it’s also a great day to show a friend or family member that you care.

Growing up my mom made a big deal out of Valentine’s. We always got a new outfit and special treats. So this year I wanted to do something nice for her! I am partnering with 1-800-Flowers.com today to show you some amazing options for Valentine’s and how to gift your loved ones. Not only your significant other but anyone special to you!

My mom is someone who is IMPOSSIBLE to shop for. I give her almost the same thing every birthday, Mother’s Day and Christmas. She just doesn’t really need anything. But one thing she LOVES is flowers. Ask anyone who knows her and they will tell you that. This was a great time to treat her. She does so much for us and for everyone else. I picked out this gorgeous arrangement for her and surprised her with it yesterday! There were so many options on 1-800-Flowers.com it was hard to pick, but I found this arrangement that had so many of her favorites.

I also wanted to do something for Andrew. He isn’t so much a flower person, but he loves greenery and plants. So I found this really cool bamboo option on 1-800- Flowers.com, which would be perfect if you know someone who really isn’t a huge fan of flowers. There are so many non-flower options too, such as sweets baskets, cookie flowers, and stuffed animals. You are covered!

There are really endless options on the website and they can either come in a box or already put together!

I love getting flowers and nothing makes someone feel more special. I know my mom felt so loved and thought about and that’s the most important important thing.

If you use this link you can also get 20% off your order! How amazing is that?! So get to ordering! Use the code WHYILOVE for the 20% off!

A few other ideas to gift your loved ones this Valentine’s:

  • Make them something: for our first Valentine’s together Andrew made me a scrapbook and to this date it’s one of my favorite things he’s done.
  • Bake them their favorite treat: another thing you could do for ANYONE.
  • Plan a picnic.
  • Spend the day doing something they love.
  • Cook dinner together.
  • Write them a list of 100 things you love about them: this is great for anyone in your life!

Flowers are always my favorite! Love the idea of cooking dinner together. That’s one of my husband’s favorite things to do which we don’t get to do as often as we’d like.

You can never go wrong with flowers. Seriously. I love flowers. For our family, we like to let our kids make special gifts just for them. It makes the boys have fun and feel proud of themselves and our family loves handmade gifts from them.
