Summer is here and not going anywhere anytime soon. Especially in Texas. I don’t know about you ladies but I hate wearing a ton of makeup in the summer. When it’s hot I want to throw on the most minimalistic items and be done with it and not worry about sweating it off or feeling weighed down by product.
My Summer makeup bag AKA makeup I always have with me is pretty basic but I thought I would share!
1. Bare Minerals Lip Gloss: I love the Marvelous Moxie lip glosses. I have a few! I love how moisturizing this gloss is and it gives just enough color and shine to be the perfect go to throw in your bag kind of gloss for summer.
2. Benefit Dandelion Blush: I love how light and glowy this blush is. It gives your face such a natural looking glow and pop of color.
3. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: I have talked about this powder before and I will sing it’s praises again! This is the best drugstore powder ever and perfect for summer It is VERY lightweight and perfect to keep your skin from looking oily!
4. NYX matte bronzer: This is very new to me I just got some a few weeks ago and compared to some of the more expensive bronzers I have found this is very comparable. It gives you just enough glow and it is absolutely worth the money.
5. NARS Creamy Concealer: This concealer is great for coverage and will be my go to concealer all year round but I happened to start using it in the summer months so it has become a staple.
6. Anastasia Brow Wiz: This is a great brow tool for shaping and filling in your brows. It is a little on the pricey side but after going through 2 of them I can tell you it is worth the money. I have turned so many people into brow wiz converts.
7. Maybelline Mascara: I go back and forth between several different mascaras and lately this one has been in my purse and been my go to in the mornings before I leave for the day. I love the length it gives my lashes and also the fact that it doesn’t make them clumpy!

The Rimmel powder is wonderful! I cannot brag on it enough. What shade of NYX bronzer do you use? I am super pale and cannot find a drugstore bronzer that works for me.
I’ve just been using some cover up along with Noxema powder. I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup in the summer either. I’ll need to try the Rimmel powder next.
I just recently picked up that Nars concealer and it is amazing! I have never found another concealer that I like for under the eye and covering a blemish. It’s good stuff…

I love a good Maybelline mascara. No matter how many I try, I always come back to them.

I use that exact same powder and LOVE it! I really love the matte finish. I need to try the rest of these out too
