Heyyyyyyy y’all!
How is everyone this Tuesday?
I have lots to cover so I’ll get right to it!!!
Tulsa
On Friday morning I woke up bright and early and grabbed a latte and headed to Tulsa to visit Jackie!
The drive was so so, chatted with the two besties and listened to Teen Mom via netflix on my iPhone.
I was a little nervous as I was driving into Tulsa thinking “Oh my gosh what if she doesn’t like me” As soon as we saw each other it was a mile a minute talking. You’d think we had known each other for years. I won’t go into too much detail but Jackie and I have a LOT in common. Its so nice to chat with someone who gets it.
We went to lunch at the Wild Fork and enjoyed a mid day glass of wine. Then we shopped for a bit, got some sonic drinks and headed back to her house to get ready. I started getting texts and phone calls about the bad Oklahoma weather which I was not aware of….2nd time in 2 weeks thats happened! DOH!
We got all ready as we drank a bottle of wine(Kung Fu Girl of course) and I got to meet Jackie’s super sweet boyfriend Eric who let us girls have the house for the weekend so we could have girl time!
Then we left and had dinner with some of Jackie’s friends at Hey Mambo a super cute Italian place where we drank more Kung Fu Girl(bottle number 2).
Then we headed down the street to see the Avett Brothers…AH MAZING!!!!!
Seriously they were awesome live and it was well worth the trip.
During the concert I walked into some railing and this was the aftermath
Yes thats a bruise….you know its a good night when…
during the concert
Of course couldn’t leave out gracie dog
After the concert Jackie and I watched No Strings Attached and chatted til the wee hours of the morning.
Did I mention Jackie also gave me a birthday gift? She got me two of my fav nailpolish colors and my fav philosophy body wash….awesome part? She had no idea….they are her favs too!
I am a firm believer in fate. Jackie and I were paired as swap partners back in September and we were clearly meant to be friends!
Thanks so much for having me girl it was greatness!
29
On Friday Mr. Chad turned 29 years young!
Since I was going to be gone Friday we had a birthday dinner date at Mercy Wine Bar Thursday night 🙂
Of course it involved yummy food and wine and a patio and great conversation.
After dinner I gave Chad his cookie cake 🙂
Saturday night we went out with Chad’s friends to celebrate at a fun bar/bowling alley called Splitsville 🙂 As you can see many drinks were had. Also I suck at bowling.
I hope CC had a great birthday! I sure enjoyed celebrating with him!
Downtown Abbey
We are obsessed! We have watched all of the episodes and are counting down the days til Season 3 starts!
BodyPump
Oh Lordy bee I love bodypump! I joined 24 hour fitness after 8 months of not having a gym membership. When I started Pure Barre in August I quit my gym membership because I was doing Pure Barre everyday. All winter since it was so mild out I ran outside. Now that its getting hotter and raining more I need a place to do cardio. I also wanted somewhere with fun new classes I could do. Enter BodyPump. I was so scared my first class. I have now taken 5 and I am addicted! If you have never tried it you should! Between that, Pure Barre and running I should be in summer shape in no time 🙂
Books
Are you on GoodReads? Cause I am now and you should follow me.
Currently I am reading two books
Momzillas
50 Shades of Grey
Both so far are greatness. Very different obviously but greatness.
Next on my list is the Bridal Quartet
Lastly I got a new Tervis Tumbler…how amazing is it? LOVE!
Of course it has an Owl 🙂
OK enough for today. Hope you enjoyed whats been going on with me lately 🙂
What have you done for yourself lately?

I’ve never tried Bodypump but I want to. How do you like Pure Barre? I love Goodreads and the Bridal Quartet is amazing!
Yes, to Downton Abbey. Just yes. I am so glad you tried Body Pump! It was my “off day” training for my triathlon and loved it! And the Bride Quartet is amazing! I loved all four books! I am interested in the 50 Shades of Grey. I will have to add them to my list!
You weren’t kidding when you said “lots of stuff” going on on the blog. Glad you had a great time with Jackie, and enjoyed celebrating C’s birthday. I wish my gym offered body pump, but oh well!
I must be the only person in the history of ever to have never seen Downton Abbey.
And I loooove cookie cake. Never tried bodypump but always wanted to!
Body Pump is AMAZING!!! Looks like you had a FABULOUS couple of days!!
Downton Abbey is hands down my favorite show EVER.
I see that DA show on Netflix but I haven’t watched it. Maybe I will give it a try! 🙂
Sounds like you had a lot of fun! I love the Owl Tervis 🙂
I’ve been wanting to read the Fifty Shades series, glad to hear it’s so good.
The Bride Quartet is a great series, and if you don’t already have it, pop over to my blog because I’m giving all four books away right now!
I keep hearing everyone talk about 50 Shades of Gray! I don’t even know what it is, but I need to look it up. Obviously it’s good if so many people like it. I have SO MANY BOOKS on my to read list!
First off, that cookie cake looks flippin’ delicious. Secondly, looks like you had SUCH a fun weekend! LOOOOOOVE the owl tervis, of course 😉
LOVE this whole post.
You and Jackie are so cute, especially loving the leopard scarf you have on!
Chad’s bday cookie cake looks delish, and Splitsville is so much fun! Don’t worry.. I suck at bowling too. 🙂
Umm, I need a tervis with an owl on it! Did you order it from the site or buy it somewhere?!
I love bodypump too. I am trying to get back to blogging. Check out my blog wish I had more followers like you
I love GoodReads! It has opened me up to sooo many different books!
You guys definitely seem like meant to be IRL friends! And now I’m intrigued by Momzillas!
Seriously I have GOT to jump on the Downtown Abbey and Fifty Shades of Grey bandwagon!
Nora Roberts books are my guilty pleasure go-to reads 🙂 Sometimes a girl just needs some mindless fluff. I LOVED the Bridal Quartet, especially book 3. I just started the Inn at BoonsBoro trilogy, and I’m addicted. My fave is the Three Sisters Island trilogy though, it’s the perfect summer read, and it’s old enough that it’s usually available at your local library without a waitlist.
Love BodyPump. You MUST go to BodyCombat if your gym has it. It’s insane and amazing and my favorite favorite thing ever. And RPM. I also love that. Or maybe I just love working out. Hm.
I’m loving 50 Shades! I blush more with every sentence I read!
In case you arrive at the stage within your profession whenever your obligations are in reality “easy,” it is actually time to produce some challenges of the personal. In what ways are you able to reinforce yourself or your group? What places have you been keeping away from? Don’t forget, it is the comfortable frog that under no circumstances notices the water within the pot acquiring hotter. His “easy” time inside the h2o finally ends up being somebody else’s frog-legs supper! (No frogs had been hurt both.).

Hey there just came upon your blog via Google after I typed in, “” or something similar (can’t quite remember exactly). In any case, I’m delighted I found it simply because your content is exactly what I’m searching for (writing a college paper) and I hope you don’t mind if I collect some material from here and I will of course credit you as the reference. Thank you so much.
