Chad and I have been together nearly 3 years and no we are not married but I saw tons of dating couples do this too so its OK yo!
Chad graciously answered the questions too….thanks boo!
My answers for Chad are the pink and his answers for me are the blue hehe
1) What do you think my best quality is?
Hands down Chads best quality is his ability to stay calm in any situation(unless he thinks I didn’t properly DVR amazing race). But seriously I am super high strung and I freak out so easily. Chad? No Chad stays calm, thinks of a solution and fixes any problem. Flat Tire, Broken DVR, you name it he deals with it.
Your ability to plan and think of every element of any situation. You’d rival any veteran party/event planner. Of course, this can work against you when you worry that something outside of your control (bad weather is an enemy I hear you curse more often than most people.) But when things all come together, I think you take pride in the result – and that in turn makes me proud of you.
2) What would be your ideal date with me?
Anything involving wine 🙂 No seriously I’d love to go wine tasting in Napa, I’d love to go to that drive in we always talk about thats an hour away, I’d love to get a pizza and watch HIMYM 🙂
Grab a slice of Pizza in Florence after admiring the sights, then train it over to Rome. We’d check out the highlights and have copious amounts of wine and the finest Italian cuisines throughout the day. The date would end in one of Rome’s most luxurious suites…where wine would be waiting for us.
3) What was your first impression of me?
Oh good he can dress well and yay he looks like his pictures(we met on Match.com). After we actually spoke I thought “good god he’s smart.”
Damn (to be read, “Daaauuuum!”). More precisely, I thought you were pretty. I liked that we could laugh at the fact that you owned a pair of tennis shoes identical to the ones I was wearing. A little shy, but definitely not too shy. Did I mention pretty?
4) What is your favorite memory of us?
I have a lot of favorite memories but one of the ones that sticks out is 2 Halloweens ago when we decorated cookies with Madison(Chads niece) and we were so focused on taking self pictures that we didn’t notice she had eaten a glob of black icing….oh Madison. My other would def be any of our road trips(the one with the Shell station) or Fredericksberg.
Road trip singing. I think it was going to New Braunfels where we really hit our stride – we didn’t even need music.
5) What do you see for us in the future?
Being DINKS(Double Income No Kids), traveling the world(London, Italy, Vietnam, Figi, Alaska, Canada(trivial pursuit for the win), Australia). Having a house in Lakewood, spending our weekends relaxing. Celebrating holidays with our families 🙂
A comfortable net income, a semi-circle driveway with limited lawn, happiness and, ideally, robot butlers. Dallas seems most likely, but other states are fair game. I know you’ll be at a good school and I’ll hopefully have climbed the ranks at my job. Life is overall good 🙂

Love the term DINkS…I might be all for that…I’m still undecided as of the past couple of years. I’ve always dreamed of being a mommy, but I feel like being a mommy and traveling don’t really go together on a teachers income. Know what I mean?

LOVE these posts! I also love the fact that you and Chad are so open about being DINKS, which is totally the plan for J and I, too. I swear, sometimes I feel like J and I have our own Dopplegangers living in TX (we so just watched the dobbleganger/relationship episode of HIMYM tonight… loved it!)
