Boob Tube Babble

Boob Tube Babble

Howdy Y’all!
I am currently either subbing for a bunch of 9th graders the day before Spring Break or crying in the corner….
Probably the former….
Anywho…
This week I did not watch a copious amount of TV but I did watch…
The series premiere of GCB(Good Christian Biatches): Yes this takes place in Dallas, specifically Highland Hillside Park. My mom happened to grow up there and go to HS there, I grew up about 6 minutes North of there. I personally LOVED it. I thought it was mostly spot on and hysterical.
Army Wives: It was the season premiere and does it make me a terrible person that I was let down? They said someone would die…I mean I hate when TV shows build it up and it doesn’t deliver. I swear Im not a terrible person 🙂
One Tree Hill: OK I swear to baby Jesus that if Xavier hurts Brooke, Julian or that baby I will NEVER EVER watch TV again. OK that was a lie. I will be legit upset. Also this Clay/Logan storyline is hurting my little heart 🙁
What did y’all watch this week?
Link up with Ashley and I 🙂

  2. Ah, OTH is totally stressing me out. I was at the gym on the treadmill and when Logan said, ‘no,’ I almost started crying. In public. Yikes!

Agree about Xavier. He seriously creeps me out!

    Keep Shining,
    Meghan

  4. Thanks for hosting Neely! I have the premiere of GCB on the dvr to watch this week and same with Army Wives. I need 10 hours of no interrupted tv time to watch some of these shows! Kids don’t need food or attention, right? Ha! Have a great Friday.

I DVR’d GCB but then the hubs deleted it thinking I already watched him.

    I could have killed him

I don’t remember them saying someone would die on “Army Wives.” They just said someone wouldn’t make it through the storm. I guess you could take that as someone dying, but it could be interpreted a number of ways. Obviously, this season is going to be all about saying “goodbye.” We officially said “goodbye” to Jeremy during that episode. Even though he’s been gone awhile, it’s almost like that was the true closure. It’ll be interesting to see how they close out the rest of the season.

“One Tree Hill” is intense. Again, it’ll be interesting to see how they close out the series.
