5 Do’s and A Don’t with Erin

 5 Do’s and A Don’t took a little vacation during the Valentines Challenge but its back and its fabulous!
 Today I have one of my bloggy bestie’s sharing her 5 Do’s and A Don’t for us. ERIN!!!
I love me some Erin. She is sassy, smart, fun and we are basically the same person. We are currently in the process of planning a summer vaca/meetup 🙂 ITs going to be legen….wait for it…DARY!

Heyyyyyyy ladies! I’m Erin from Everything According to Erin and I’m taking over Neely’s fab blog today with my 5 Do’s and A Don’t! I’m uber excited to be doing this for Neely because I absolutely adore her and all of her awesome ideas. Neely-o and I have been bloggie friends for a while now, but just recently decided that we were besties because we are actually the same person! Totes separated at birth yo! Be courteous and kind.

 Lately I’ve been seeing such a lack of overall politeness and kindness around. Look, we all know that we’re in tough times, but guess what? So is everyone around you. Doing little things like holding the door for someone or just saying things like “please” and “thank you” could completely change someone’s day for the better! I know we all love when things are about us, but sometimes you just need to spread the love people!

Purchase that one designer bag.

Everyone of us girls has that one bag that is our absolute dream bag. Now I’m not saying go spend $15,000 on a Birkin Bag, but go spoil yourself on that one designer bag that you just love. It could be by Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, whoever! My dream bag is the Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 bag which I have not purchased for myself yet, but one day I will!

DO…
Have an emergency stash of certain items with you at all times.

A nail kit that has a nail file and clippers, you never know when your nail is going to break. And you never know when you’ll need scissors to cut a loose string.
Clear nail polish for random runs in your stockings.
A tampon, enough said.
Lotion, especially in the winter and summer. Dry skin sucks.
 Chapstick and/or lipgloss.
Pressed powder to cover up shine throughout the day.
A mirror.
Mint gum, it may not be as good as a toothbrush, but it’ll help.

Try to wear cute underwear.

You know that old saying, “Always wear clean underwear”? This is along the same lines. You never know who you’re going to meet, you never know when a moment might happen and it’s just something nice to do for yourself and boost your self esteem.

Believe in yourself.

Listen, life is full of challenges. These challenges can be something physical like a mountain, mental, outside of your control or even other people. There will ALWAYS be something trying to stand in your way. Someone will ALWAYS be there to put you down or steal even your ideas. Just remember, you’re better than that and you can do ANYTHING. When you get down about things, all you have to do is BELIEVE in yourself.

DON’T…
Cheat.

Just in general.
Don’t cheat on a test, on a significant other, on your diet, just don’t do it.
I chose this as my don’t because I just feel like if you’re going to cheat on something what’s the point? If you know you’re going to cheat on your diet, why start one?
If you know wanna date someone else, then break up with the one you’re with.
It takes just as much effort to cheat on a test as it does to study for one!
If you can’t come up with something that’s your own, don’t steal it from someone else!
I know in this day and age it’s very hard to have your own “thing”. Most likely, someone has already been there and done that. So you know what? You still do it, but you make it your own. With blogging this is a big struggle. I know copying is a form of flattery, but for real guys. I’ve seen so much stuff get stolen from other people’s blogs it’s getting a little out of hand. It’s not like you don’t find out about it! If you really want to do something like another person, just ask them! I’m sure it would be ok. It would be ok with me!
