A while ago I was contacted by a woman at Nordstrom Northpark Mall wanting me to come in and try their new personal shopper/stylist program.
She said on my first visit I would get a $50 gift card to shop with. That sounded way too good to be true so I called her and we chatted for a while about it and she explained to me it was in fact legit.
So I made an appointment to get some new jeans. All my jeans are skinny jeans or cropped or regular. I really wanted some flared jeans bad! Plus I had no light wash jeans.
She set me up with the nicest girl EVER who contacted me about my sizes and styles and what brands I usually like.
I went on Saturday and there was already a huge dressing room full of clothes for me to play in!
I took one pic while wearing some Jbrand jeans and a haute hippie top.
I was there for about an hour trying on clothes and accessories.
I ended up buy two pairs of jeans. A dark was flare by Paige Premium and a light wash flare by Mother, a new designer brand jeans company! Supposedly the mother of all jeans and BOY ARE THEY!
I also got two belts to be worn with tunics 🙂
OK fine I bought other stuff but thats all from Nordstrom.
I loved having a stylish/personal shopper who just brought me bunches of stuff to try on while I didnt have to so much as lift a finger. They can run all over the department store and grab you whatever you want to try on from any department.
I will absolutely be using her again for anything I may need to shop for at Nordstrom from shoes and handbags to clothes and makeup!
I had the best time and I am so thankful for the opportunity!
If you are a fan of Nordstrom I suggest using this service!
I seriously can’t express enough how lucky I feel to be able to do this and I cant wait to wear my jeans!
They are currently being hemmed as they are both about a foot too long for me 🙂

That is so neat! I was just there a couple days ago and saw the stylist area but I wasn’t too sure what it was. It sounds great!

Lucky girl! 😉 I enjoy having to “dig” to find my own stuff, but this could be cool.
My friend’s mom used to use a PS (and probably still does). I thought it was SO fancy (especially because I was 15 at the time). It was so cool because the PS would shop for their whole family and the momma would just riffle through everything and decide what she wanted to buy.

FUN!! I can see this coming in handy with jean shopping FOR SURE!! Jean shopping is the worst and I bet it was nice to have a pro find which fit/cut/wash you wanted. I would love to do this when I need to find a really nice dress for a wedding or something too! Sounds like you found some awesome stuff on Saturday 🙂

I have never thought about trying out a personal shopper! I have the hardest time finding clothes since I had the kiddo.

That outfit is so freaking adorbs on you! I wish I had that problem with my jeans being TOO long for me… unfortunately, mine all end up being too short for me therefore resulting in me having to take the hem out of um, all my pants. Lame.
