Its also 1 day til my loverman comes home from Spain!! Only to leave again Sunday and go train for his new job sigh
Anyways this was a BIIIIIIG week in TV world…
Season Finales and TV up-fronts.
We now know the fate of all of our favorite shows and whether or not they will be back in the fall.
Lets analyze shall we?
SPOILER ALERTS
1. One Tree Hill coming in January not September. I know I should be glad its coming back at all but I mean really EFFING JANUARY!?!?!?
UGH! Also the season finale felt more like a series finale. I agree with my pal, Katie…where do they go now? I mean Brooke and Julian had their twins, Haley and Nathan are good, Jamie has turned into Lucas, Steph…en from Laguna Beach is still hot and I dont think Im leaving anyone else out that I care about.
2. Better with You was canceled. I am beyond sad about this. I think this was the most disturbing part of the week aside from the fact that for some reason Survivor is on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays…why? Better with you was hysterical and I know several bloggers watched it too.
3. I was right about Brothers and Sisters…sorry Mateya. I find it amusing that I wrote about this last Thursday technically cause I schedule posts and then Friday afternoon it was canceled. Thanks for reading my blog ABC 😉
4. CW season Finale’s…aside from OTH, the 90210 and Gossip Girl finales were also on. 90210 was kinda lame aside from Naomi being preggo. Gossip Girl was predictable. I knew that Charlie girl was NOT for reals. I mean that was a fake meltdown if Ive ever seen one. Oh the pregnancy test…my guess is Derota. Blair being preggo with Chucks baby…nah. And Serena well has she even been having sex?
5. Greys and Private Practice. As far as Im concerned…the shows have seen better days.
6. HIMYM OH MY LORD the season finale was greatness. Barney getting MARRIED and I hope its to Robin even though its probably not. Like we learned in the season premiere thats where Ted meets the mother. And thats the day they meet. The wedding takes place a year or two in the future. Since the show was picked up for 2 more seasons Im betting its 2 years in the future. Im betting thats how they will end the show. So when Im right I will link back to this post 🙂
Other than that no major shows were canceled that I will miss, and no season finale’s really shocked me. I mean last year we had the Greys shooter and that was cray cray so what was gonna top that?

I agree with GG…It’s definitely Chuck’s baby. People wondering maybe it’s Serena’s…she hasn’t even been with anyone since Ben.
HIMYM was good although I called it as soon as Lily got sick. I knew she would be pregnant. That made the 3rd show I watched with a pregnancy as the finale.
HIMYM was such a nice finale – the best of all the shows i watch (though my other shows aren’t nearly as awesome as HIMYM)
I love OTH but like you, don’t really know where else they can go with it!!
Still sad about Better with You, that show was under appreciated! I will miss it!
So it doesn’t look like we watch the same shows…but I was so disappointed when Perfect Couples was canceled!!
Also, how hot was the scene with Chuck and Blair with Rolling in the Deep playing?? Ugh I love them. Cannot wait for them to get back together.
I haven’t watched OTH since Brooke’s wedding. I really wish they’d just end it already. Though, I thought this when Peyton and Lucas left too. The show hasn’t been the same without them.
As for GG, I doubt it’s a mini Chuck Bass but that’d be reeeaaallly exciting if it was! 8)
I am also upset “Better With You” was canceled! It was such a cute show! I started watching it because it came on before Modern Family, and I got hooked! I will miss that show!
I agree that the OTH finale seemed like a series finale for me, what else is ther left to do?!Can’t believe it’s not coming back until Jan crazy!!!
When I read that you liked “Better with You” last week, i thought: really? But then in a fit of lazy-ness, I caught up on the last 5-6 episodes that I had missed and kept laughing out loud! (I should qualify – with headphones on while I should have been working. My boyfriend thought I was nuts). It was cute – but adding babies to shows can often be unreal/difficult, and I wonder if that added aspect (which would have changed the show’s dynamic) contributed to the cancellation…
Yeah like we discussed on Twitter, I was very underwhelmed with Greys, despite majorly tearing up during the cafeteria scene.
I agree about HIMYM. This is my favorite show on tv right now! I totally fell for the “and that’s how I met your mother” when the flower went to the wrong girl. I can’t wait to see the wedding, I hope its Robin!
We watched Better With You too. Such a bummer. And I have to admit, I never watched HIMYM until recently when my husband and I started watching the reruns. I love it!
Agree with everything you said. I hadn’t heard himym got picked up for 2 more seasons! So excited!!!

Grey’s was just average. Derek can’t seriously leave her for good….
Gossip Girl…I hope it is Blair but there’s no way. It must be Derota’s, but that’s just weird…
I don’t really like any of these shows! Used to love OTH though!
The only show I show out of those you talked about is Greys and you are sooo right about it not being all that great. But I would rather have it be so-so than have people die!!

I used to watch Gossip Girl, OTH, and 90210 but sadly not anymore. They weren’t holding my interest. How much more could they possibly do with OTH?
I didn’t watch Grey’s because of Bones and Bones ending was more shocking then HIMYM’s ending but not by much.
Umm. TWINS for Brooke and Julian??? NO WAY!
And I haven’t seen HIMYM in recent years, but I LOVE that Barney is getting married. I bet it’s legen…dary.

I had no idea we were waiting until JANUARY for One Tree Hill. The season finale definitely felt like a series finale! The only thing I hope for is a return of Peyton and Lucas. Hmph!
As far as Greys and Private Practice, I thought they were good episodes but didn’t seem like a series finale! Oh, except for Pete I suppose. But, he isn’t going to die.
