PSA:
Having a blog can be very harmful to your bank account.
Some side effects include but are not limited to:
Addiction to stationary, planners and all things office/school supply related
Need for the 2nd Pumpkin Spice Latte of the day
Want of a Keurig
Inability to focus due to scouring the new Jcrew look book
Need to buy a new winter coat, even though the high today is 95
Shoe envy not to be confused with handbag envy
Obsession with various online boutiques such as Bridier Baubles, Design Darling and Ashley Brooke Designs …don’t forget etsy shops
If you or anyone you know is experiencing these side effects…well….
You are probably a blogger. Please check your band account at once!

amen sister! lately blogging has been SO bad for my bank account. i blame it on all the cool stuff everyone posts. #firstworldproblems haha
If you could see my face it would look extremely guilty. I’m so ashamed*
*ashamed. adj. a. feeling shame, guilt, or discrace. b. the feeling you say you have for overspending on etsy when you actually feel elated and ALIVE by your overzealous purchase
Cue personal shopping freeze.
Hahaha so true! Except I already don’t have any money in the bank account, so I just cry myself to sleep at night at all the deals I loose out on and shoes I can’t buy…ok, not really, but still.
This couldn’t be any more true. Checked my bank account – I can NOT spend until Friday. hahaha
hahah my savings have been slowly dwindling since i started this blog! its a problem!!!! lol
Amen!!!
Oh so true!
HAHAHA OMG, this is the truest thing I’ve read EVER! Let’s not forget paid sponsorhips/ads, EOS lip balm, blog conferences, and money for crafts you see on blogs…
Between blogging and Pinterest, my bank account is screwed!
AGREED!! It’s baddddd. I don’t think i’ve ever shopped as much as I do now that I have a blog
This is so true!!
Amen! I’m actually doing a pretty good job of it so far, but MAN it’s going to be a tough fall 😉
hahahah yes i laughed because I feel your pain and my wallet would like to thank you for the cutest stationary I just purchased.
HAHA. I love this. It’s so true. It’s like a shopping cult. A giant addicting shopping cult. Now, if only Bloggers could figure out a way to plant a money tree, I’d be golden!
Aaaaaaaah! I am definitely experiencing all those!
xo,
janmloves.blogspot.com
haha love it, this is def. all true!
Yep! I always tell myself to stop spending money but then I see others spending money so I think it’s ok. hah
I, for one, do definitely not go broke lusting over the latest goods in Jcrew.
I don’t know what a keurig is (sexual device?) and stationary makes me want to puke.
A Keurig is a coffee machine.
Getting back to the original post… I don’t buy too much stuff, except the EC Life Planner and some wash tape, so I think I’m ok.
I’m lucky enough to always be dead broke so even though I want for those things – I can’t buy them. LOL. Just check – account still empty.
Ah! love this, it is SO true!
Bank account* ;). I totally agree!!
So true!!
SO TRUE! I started a blog to track how I learn how to save money and I find myself spending more!! Eeek!
haha sooo true!! i have a running list of everything i want to buy!
Haha yes. Why am I so attracted to stupid stationary? It gets me every damn time.
hahaha love this post!! My bank account is lower since blogging…must have all the things!!!
I swear to you, GET A KEURIG!! It is such a money saver for me! Yeah, the coffee is more expensive than regular coffee, but they have so many more flavors and varieties. DO IT!
Haha so true!
I could not agree more with this post!:)
preach it girl. I have discovered WAY too many amazing online shops thanks to blogging, I think blogs are a gateway drug that lead to shopping addiction haha.
YES! KEURIG! I got one for Christmas and LURV it. 😉
