So two weekends ago I had my 10 year high school reunion….
I was not really looking forward to it but I wont lie it was crazy fun!
Friday night we had the homecoming parade, football game then a few of us went to a bar
Saturday there was a picnic then we had a night out at the bar….

Things I learned in 10 years:
1. I am much much cuter now than in high school
2. Some people never change…in a good way and in a bad way
3. That guy who cheated on you….inevitably looks terrible now
4. Its never the ones you suspect
5. My high school friends that have kids really like to party
It was so fun to see everyone and I am so glad I went!

I’ve never went to any of my high school reunions… LOL! They just aren’t very exciting really… I think the last one was just thrown together in a month and had very few people at it.

Mine was this month! & I did not go! Mostly because I went to 2 high schools so I didn’t connect like others & the people I still want to see, I do 🙂

Looks like fun! I didn’t go to my 5-year reunion. I don’t think anyone at my school did, the planning was horrible!

I didn’t go to my 5 year high school reunion because honestly, at the time I thought it was lame. None of my real friends from HS were going and I didn’t want to spend the money to pretend to care about people’s lives when I only met them twice in gym class. Plus I felt that facebook has kind of made the 5 year reunion obsolete. More than 5 years later, I don’t regret not going at all.
My 10 year reunion was over the summer. I badly wanted to go to that, but living in Germany made that difficult for me. 🙁

I didn’t go to my reunion (ahem, THREE years ago). I was pregnant and feeling very uncute. And I was 500 miles away.
I don’t plan on going to any reunion. My high school friends and I have slowly drifted away and no longer speak except for the occasional facebook comment. There’s no one I want to see from my high school years. I’m perfectly content pretending that high school never happened. 😉

I did not go to my 10 year reunion because it was my birthday and my hubby planned some other stuff. However I do agree with everything you listed about what you learn – and maybe I’ll hit up the 20 year (yikes I’ll be old!) when it comes that time.
Glad you had so much fun! Looks like a blast! My ten year was this year as well. I didn’t go. I teach at the high school I went there– I’m there every frickin day. Haha. I don’t know if many people attended to be honest!

Someone from my graduation class just tried to organize a 5 year reunion but it flopped. Most of us are spread all over the country so it’s hard to get everyone in one place.
