Its called a break up because its broken….errrr…ok

Well backstory….when I was 18 I started dating a bad guy. He wasnt bad then but he was bad later. Well we dated on and off for 3 plus years and he treated me like crapola.

When we finally broke up for good, my mom bought me this book

I read it and said…hrmm maybe this dude has a point.

I for surely knew it was broken

Chad and I …well I go back and forth. Over the last couple of days I can say at some points yes we are broken and not fixable and then I miss him and then Im mad and then I have a vodka and I calm thyself.

But nevertheless we are dunzo.

I am ok with it every few minutes.

My friends have been UN REAL and my family is amazeballs.

Plus this girl is coming to Dallas this weekend!

I am keeping busy, I am making lists(and checking them twice), I am going and doing and being.

Thank you again for everything all the comments, tweets and texts have been amazing.

I heart you all!

I read this book when my ex and I broke up in July…very good book with some very good points. I should have left my ex months after we started dating, but I stayed and took him back every time I left him for 4 1/2 years. I can honestly say now 4 months after I am the happiest I’ve been in years!!! Praying for ya girl!!!

  9. Read the He’s Just Not That Into You.. Love it.. I read both of those and was as good as new. Go shopping, get your hair done, new outfits, smile with them pretty white teeth and then you’ll be golden.

I’m glad to hear you’re doing alright. You definitely seem more upbeat than not in your Tweets. At least the ones about Dawson’s Creek are cracking me up, hehe.

Hope it gets easier fast! 🙂

  17. Oh man, my best friend bought me this book after a breakup too! Hang in there–I’m sure you’re gonna swing back and forth with how you feel about it for awhile… And in the meantime? Yes to vodka, yes to kickass girlfriends, and yes to distracting yourself like crazy!

Sending good thoughts your way 🙂
