428 Days

In 428 days I will be 30 years old. In 63 days I will be 29 years old.

Im trying to come up with a list of things to do before I turn 30…yes I had a 30 before 30 list but honestly half of the things I already crossed off and I think I made the other half far too unattainable. So my list this time needs to be actually attainable goals.

So far on my list:

1. Finish my book, publish it and sell 1,000 copies

2. Travel to Europe

3. Get Ashley to not hate flying in airplanes

4. Pay off my car(my last payment is one month after my birthday so Im gonna pay the last 2 payments before)

5. Visit Boston, Washington DC, Chicago AGAIN, San Fran/Napa and New York

6. Attend 10 more blog conferences

7. Purchase a Ballenciaga Bag

8. Actually figure out “the cloud”

9. Watch my dad turn 59

10. Watch my grandpa turn 90

So what else guys?? Leave suggestions in the comments below

Note: I already have a tattoo

My suggestion would be to make a tandem skydive, if you haven’t already. It’s one of the most amazing experiences in life that I feel everyone should have! There are almost no words to describe the exhilaration, the pure joy and beauty of a skydive (even though you are scared shitless at first 😉 ).

I think most people have read the 30 before 30 list, but in case you haven’t here it is. It might give you ideas of other things to come up with, although by reading your blog you seem to have already done most of these!

Hmmm….I definitely love the last two! I think something you should do is take a pole dancing class or learn how to give a lap dance….if you haven’t already. Those are a lot of fun & it’s different! Live a little….most people only turn 29 and 30 once!

I had goals such as spend more quality time with family, work on my home and own my power. Learn to say NO when you feel like it and not be agreeable to everything someone wants you to do. I went hot air balooning and had a special girls kayak trip to photograph wildlife I love at 30. Spending time with only people that appreciate me and no more time with negative people. I cleaned the negative friends out of my life. Expensive bags need to be off the list, you do not want to focus on material items, they do not make you happy and they put you in debt you do not need. . I also took my family to Disneyland for a 5 star trip, so glad I did we had the time of our lives and my Mom died not long after that.

  11. If you go to Napa, please post about it before you go so I can share some tips with you! I got married there and spent 10 days there. We visited 13 wineries, and I’m going back this weekend to visit another 10 ir si. I have some recommendations for ones you have to go to and a list of those you should skip because they’re like touring a corporate factory with a boring guide! 🙂 Actually, I have posts scheduled for while I’m gone this weekend about our trip last summer!

Good luck for all your goals. I had a list but 30 has passed me by I did do one thing on my list so I am proud of that. Traveling is something I want to do and I am going to start that this year.

I’ll be thirty in August and hadn’t even thought of setting any goals! I better get to it, here are some I’ve just thought up after reading your post that you can steal too –
    – volunteer at a soup kitchen/shelter etc for a day
    – tell my mum I’m sorry I was a terrible teenager and I love her for all she ever did for me
    – make a meringue
    – get up and go for a run before 6am (normally run later in the day)
    – Stop procrastinating when I study!!!!
