Day 2: Black Friday/General shopping tips and tricks
Well I know this may shock people but I am NOT a black Friday shopper. I used to love it in high school and even some in undergrad but now a days. I like to sleep, go to the gym because its not crowded, veg with Chad and then we decorate for Christmas. We went to the mall last year for lunch because it has a California Pizza Kitchen and the mall was DEAD! This was at 1 PM and granted its a small mall in Plano but Its my 2nd fav mall and its always dead so my tricks are…
*If you live in Dallas: Shop at Willowbend its always dead
*Shop online as much as you can: No lines and you can find better deals
*Shop around: Dont just buy something at one place look around if its something like an ipod or any electronic other stores will match it. Thats how I got my ipod touch they best buy matched walmarts price!
*Shop online on Monday its called Cyber Monday. **** You’re welcome ****
*If you are someone who must holiday shop in the stores dont go black Friday. Im a big time vs. money person and the time you wait in lines, spend in traffic, look for parking doesnt really save you money in the end. Just go on a random Tues morning or a Friday night. The malls are dead on Fridays nights!!!! I did a ton of shopping on a Friday night last year. Plus there are sales all holiday season not just black Friday!
Also if you are one of those people who does the 3 AM Khols or Target….good luck! Ill be sleeping in my turkey induced coma 🙂

Cyber Monday is when I hit!
I am not a 3am person but I will make it to the mall around 8am. I find that most morning specials last until 10am or later. I refuse to go anywhere near an outlet mall on Black Friday. I would rather pay full retail than deal with that mess.
Yes, I am totally a 3 a.m.er at Khols.!!! First or second in line is the only way.!
I do NOT wait in line. I get to the stores around 5, after the lines clear. And it always seems that I don’t buy much! Haha, I seem to think it’s fun. (CRAZY – I KNOW!)

I’m SO jealous that I can’t shop on Cyber Monday. Working just takes the fun out of everything!
