Today’s Fav Friday topic over @ Jens blog is Favorite Book: Genre (Chick Lit)
Have you met her? Cause I have 🙂 Did you read about it? You can here Emily and I are buds 🙂 I have her cell number and she has mine so in my opinion we are practically besties haha.
No seriously shes the nicest person ever and so down to earth its un real. She has the best taste in clothes and loves a good Mambo Taxi 🙂
But her books are my fav even before I met her there was something about the way she wrote that just made me want to be in these stories. She writes flawed characters that you can relate to and understand and cheer for!
But which of her books is my absolute fav? Well I love them all but I will say Something Borrowed is my personal favorite. I love Rachel and Dex and I didnt want the book to end. Plus bonus my fav Ginnifer Goodwin is playing Rachel in the movie!!!! The movie comes out in 10 months…Im not counting or anything 🙂
If you havent read her books and you are a girl….read them! What is wrong with you? Go stop reading my blog and go buy them! 🙂
Ok hodgepodge time…
-Busy busy weekend ahead! Tonight drinks and karaoke with friends that are in town from Austin. Tomorrow errands and gym during the day and goo goo dolls and a friends bday party at night. Sunday Nick and Sams for Dallas Restaurant Week with Chad. Oh fancy shmancy dinner dates how I love you 🙂
-Today is my last day of work! Woohoo!!!
-Grad School starts Monday 🙂 I got a new backpack it was really fun!
-Im so ready for fall its not even funny…I got some new ugg boots for fall…Ill show them when its actually cool outside but they are grey Ill say that much!
-Im excited about no classes on Weds and Fri and getting to lunch with my girls and go shopping with my preggers friend Michele on Weds oh and seeing Eat Pray Love 🙂
