Change

Im not going to lie and say that Im good with change. I am not at all. I am very “type A.” I think things in order, organized, and routine. So when things happen that shake up the routine it makes me very very anxious.

Today Chad started LEAD camp. Which is a 2 week long orientation/refresher for his MBA program. SO for 2 weeks from 8-5ish he is at UTD doing classes, and meeting people etc. But because he is in classes, and doing different things we cant really text or talk or email. For the 13 months and 3 days we’ve been together we talk constantly during the day. Most days we send 100 plus emails back and forth. Granted they are usually 1 or 2 sentences and a lot of them say “I love you.” But still…its hard for me to get used to not having that all day. I know its not a big problem. But today-weds Im off work so Im not nearly as busy and I just keep staring at my phone. Sad I know. But I hate not being able to hear from him.

I woke up at 8:30 this morning-3.5 hours later than normal! And had a slight anxiety attack. I start Grad School 2 weeks from today. Ummmm WHat!?!? I for the first time in 9 years wont be working, I will be going to class, studying, etc. Thats so weird. I worked all through college so Im not used to it.

All this change is making my stomach hurt. Its giving me that nervous stomach, butterflies feeling that I do not enjoy. I guess I needed an outlet for that and duh…I blog…why wouldnt I write about it here?

I hope yall are all having a great Monday.

Top Two Tuesday and Weekend Recap later today!

  3. I know you are going to do amazing though, Neely! Are you going to UTD too? One of my friends is going to be playing volleyball there and I am hoping to come and catch a game! I will have to be sure and let you know if I do!

  9. I was never very good with change, either. That is, until I married my husband and became a mom to a 7-year-old! Whew!

Hang in there! Everything will work out fine! 🙂
