31 Days: Day 2

So today I want to talk about how much I love my parents. They are the most amazing people.

31 Days round 2

They got divorced when I was 7 and somehow through it all never made me feel like a child of divorce. They have remained best friends through everything. Even when my dad was in the hospital and we all thought he was going to die my mom was welcome there and visited him regularly.

When my mom has gone through anything my dad is there for her.

They are the best example of great people to me.

My mom owns her own business and is my absolute role model as a successful, loving, puts everyone ahead of herself, strong, smart, beautiful on the inside and out woman.

My dad is hardworking, tough, funny, loving, and caring.

Thank you mom and dad for being such amazing examples. I love you.

Your parents are adorable! Its so nice and refreshing to hear someone honor their parents. My parents were awesome, my Dad died when I was 8. My Mom never remarried because she loved my Dad and raised 3 kids by herself. She was a amazing, intelligent, well read, strong person who give up everything for her kids.
She was also my best friend and we shared everything. We loved spending time together just the two of us. We had a great time being daughter and Mom and I was so blessed. When she got sick with cancer, I guided her through her death, was by her side 24/7 and honored her love for me by caring for her every need. I miss her so much.

That’s awesome they were really great at parenting you after their divorce. I feel like my parents put us in the middle of their problems a lot, so that was tough to deal with. It makes me happy when divorced parents can parent together.

That is wonderful with your parents! Sometimes parents are just better parents apart.
