We are talking about what we are thankful for so its more of a generalized post than a question or rather a writing prompt if you will.
I am thankful that my dad survived cancer, a stem cell transplant and is in remission. A year ago I was unsure and it has given me a new outlook on life. My dad is my hero and he has overcome so much.
I am thankful for my mom. She is my biggest cheerleader and my biggest supporter. I call her whenever I have good news bad news or just to talk. She owns her own business and is such an inspiration to me in mine.
I am thankful for A. He has really made me come out of my shell after going through a rough relationship before and made me realize not all guys are douchebag assholes. He made me see what good guys are and made me realize some people really are made for each other. I love him to the moon and back.
I am thankful for my two best friends Ash and Michele. They both came into my life in two very different ways and right when I needed them. I could not ask for better. In the words of T-Swifty “I never saw you coming and I’ll never be the same.”
I am thankful for the air I breathe, the roof over my head, the water I drink, the food in my belly, the clothes on my back, Cowboys football, a good latte, the ability for women to own their own businesses and speak for themselves, making my own choices in life, and so much more.
I am thankful for last but certainly not least the blog community and my amazing readers and friends I have made through this. I would have never thought 4 years ago that I would meet people who would inspire me to go beyond what I thought I could be and become the woman I am. Thank you for reading, thank you for coming back day after day and thank you for pushing me to constantly strive for better. You are the reason I do this.

There is nothing like surving cancer, my birth mom lost her battle with breast cancer 6 years ago and it was a rough time in my life. I’ll keep for dad in my prayers!! Also I’ve linked up with all your links. Enjoy your Sunday!
