So I am pretty lucky to have an amazing group of friends and family that make up my group of bridesmaids. I recently asked them in what I thought was a super cute way…here below you can see how I asked my maid of honor, Ashley you my know her from Ashley Lately ….

I also have a Matron of Honor…my other best friend, Michele.
I have 3 of my closest girlfriends as bridesmaids too! Laura and I have been friends since we were 14. Ally lives in London and is just my soul sister. Im not sure I have ever met someone who is in my brain more than Ally. Taylor is my neighbor and although I haven’t known her as long it was an instant friendship that I knew would last forever.
I also have my two cousins, Andrea and Natalie as well as A’s cousin., Cala.
So yes if you are counting that would make 8 bridesmaids!
I also have 2 flower girls.
I picked out their dresses from Jcrew and they are seriously adorable! Im not going to show them on the blog because I want them to be a surprise when you guys see pics 🙂 They will go with a pair of cute Kendra Scott earrings and shoes that have yet to be found.
Picking bridesmaids for me was hands down the easiest wedding task to date. Probably because these are the people you want to stand up and support you on the most important day of your life. So why would you pick anyone that doesn’t love and support you? No you pick the people that love and support you the most. Easy!
So how did you ask/pick your bridesmaids?

I had 8 bridesmaids too and people thought I was crazy, but these girls were seriously the best 8 women ever, so everything was super easy and fun with them!

Love this! I almost wish I had Pinterest/ bloggers I love to follow like yourself from when it got married! We literally were asking our bridal party to be in it as we called to tell them we were engaged so the night of our engagement the whole bridal party was set lol
I wrote them all little cards and sent them ring pops and “bridesmaid” pins in the mail. Wasn’t anything extravagant, but it was heartfelt! 🙂

It’s so cute & fun hearing how brides went about asking their bridal parties to take part in their special day! I’m pretty sure I just asked my 4 bridesmaids flat out(I think? so long ago it’s hard to remember) & I pretty much just assumed my younger sister would be my maid of honor(although having to do it again I probably would have gone a different route.) Perhaps for my next go around, 1st one didn’t go as planned unfortunately- I’ve dealt with it so don’t feel too bad for me, I’ll come up with something fun, cute & maybe slightly unique…

I found a cute poem on Pinterest but then I wrote a handwritten note to each girl specified to our relationship. I put them both into a cute handmade card, and mailed each package to the girls. I am getting married this August and I am so excited to have my best friends standing by my side!
We aren’t having a bridal party, just a best man & matron of honor – But I love how you asked! So cute!
How adorable is that! Great way to ask your bridesmaids… I did something similar but I only had 6 (that was a handful all in itself!)
&I completely agree, I wouldn’t even consider anyone who didn’t support us wholeheartedly. It’s one of the most important days in you &your future husband’s life – it should ONLY be filled with love and support!
