Oh Wednesday how I loathe you….
So last night A scored us sneak preview tickets to THE BLING RING and you better believe not only did he get the biggest hug and kiss from his girlfriend but I sat in that movie like I hadn’t been so excited since Something Borrowed came out. I used to love the show Pretty Wild about the girl Emma Watson plays in the movie and her wacky family so when I learned a Sophia Copolla Version of this movie was coming out I was like YESSSSSS!
A is leaving for a 6 day business trip on Sunday…wah. Sads.
I have been in a rut since its Summer and while I’ve been watching such gems as Dont be Tardy, Pretty Wicked Moms, Princesses Long Island and Dance Moms(all fantastic shows) I have also been rewatching Sex and the City and Friends from the beginning. So Sex and the city aired 15 years ago and friends nearly 20…does that freak anyone else out???
On Fathers Day we had a BIG family cookout and pool time and I did what I normally do apply my SPF 45(usually its 50) got on a raft and floated in the pool for 4 hours…then I came home to this…
Yes that is me the night of said Family BBQ
3 days later not much better. Lets just say big t-shirts and loose fitting shorts are my friend right now. Thankfully its been raining all week. I say that because there is no sun in sight for this pale girl.
So lesson learned…I’d rather stick to being pale. Burn is the new pale ….my ass
Also I have 10 days left of my challenge! I have officially made it 50 days without shopping, spending unnecessary money or anything! GO ME!

I LOVE Sofia Coppola! I have a lot of her movies. Marie Antoinette is one of my all time faves of hers. I am going to get this book to read before I watch the movie. You should see the Twitter account of Alex Neires (the girl Emma plays) and the author of the book, Nancy Jo Sales (she follows me on Twitter btw! YIPPEE!!) and how they talk shit to each other. It’s HILARIOUS!

I’m so impressed that you’ve made it that far without shopping! I kind of want to challenge myself to it! Just to be sure, did that include anything (like meals out, drinks, etc.) or just shopping for clothes and fun things? If I missed this somewhere, just point me in the right direction 🙂
