Hi guys! I’m Lesley from the blog By the Porchlight! I’m so happy to be hanging out on Neely’s lovely blog today. I always have a hard time coming up with guest post topics but if there’s one thing I like on other blogs is super random lists. I’m a huge list-maker so I thought I’d share with you just a few of my favourite things (I’m Canadian so I spell it with a “u”… eh?).
1. Making lists
Did I mention that already? Yeah, maybe. But seriously… I make lists for everything! Need a blog post idea when you’ve got nothing else to say? Make a list! I’ve got a summer bucket list. I do a Wednesday Wishlist every once in a while. I’ve also compiled a Blogging To-Do list which could be particularly helpful for new bloggers. By far, my favourite list to make every year is my birthday to-do list. I recently turned 28 (ah! scary!) and made a twenty-eight in twenty-eight list to keep me on track for all the things I hope to accomplish this year.
2. Cats.
I am cat obsessed. I have three pudders who like to snuggle and shed record amounts of fur everyday. I would like to own all things cat from Etsy.

3. Pizza.
I really like pizza. Like, really. It’s a problem. Barbecue chicken pizza made on naan bread is a staple in our household.
4. Pinterest.
This is another problem. I trick myself into going on Pinterest for what I tell myself will be 10 minutes. Next thing I know it’s midnight, the house is a mess and I haven’t eaten supper. Check out my boards! At least I have something to show for my addiction…
5. Historical fiction.
I love a good book! I will, more often
than not, choose a night in all alone with a good book over a night out
anywhere. I often get “caught” online while I had planned on reading all
night – pinning or blogging – but I crave a good book. And if it’s
historical fiction then it’s all the better! It was hard to narrow it
down but here are my top 3!
