Hey Y’all I was born in Dallas, TX and aside from college I have lived here my entire life!
Dallas is also home to America’s team…the greatest team in FOOTBALL the team that everyone loves…..
THE DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!
I have a picture of me in a Cowboys onesie when I was a baby, I have been to at least one game a year since I can remember. The last two years I have seen games with my fella 🙂
November 2010 at Cowboys Stadium….we won
Watching the Saints/Cowboys game at a bar with friends…we won
October 2009 at the New Cowboys stadium…we won
Yeah so we watch EVERY game….I mean every game. Pre season….even if they have already been counted out for the season…
And this year since we will be in NYC for New Years we will be going to the New Years Day game against the Giants….HELLS TO THE YEAH! I will be that fan in the stadium getting beer bottles thrown at her.
Now lets talk about one part of the Cowboys I hate: Jerry Jones. Yes our owner/manager and god …JERRY!
He bothers me. And he kind of reminds me of Mr. Burns on the Simpsons. Helloooo Smithers…yes that guy.
He needs to just be an owner and not be the manager.
But this year we have a NEW COACH!!!!! The Jason Garrett era is about to begin and they trimmed some fat from the team…sniff sniff tear bye bye Marion Barber….I will miss wearing number 24 🙁
But we have Romo…Miles Austin….Doug Free…Dez Bryant…oh yeah we have GREAT PLAYERS!
If only we had a great kicker…le sigh
Anyways….some of my greatest memories in life and with Chad are watching cowboy games. In his apartment, at his parents house, at my house, with my family on Thanksgiving(yes we work out eating around halftime) at bars with friends.
I have turned Chad into a Cowboys fan and as the only child of a crazy cowboys fan my daddy turned me into one!
This is our schedule this year….don’t let the final 3 games scare you 🙂

Very fun! I use to like the Cowboys. Don’t worry, I don’t like a different team, I’m just not too into sports anymore. Although I probably liked them for the wrong reasons. I wanted to be a cheerleader, they won a lot AND Troy Aikman!
Don’t worry, I don’t think Giants fans are as bad as the Yankee fans here. lol
I have always always always been a Dallas Cowboys fan!!!!! My entire family is just like you, we bleed blue and silver!! LOL!!!
My fiance is a Houston Texans fan, so we are a house divided, unfortunately!!!!
haha…I have to contest your statement, Cowboys are NOT America’s team. :p I personally can’t stand them. I’m always gonna be a Colts fan (gotta have blue & white love for my home state!) and then I have friends who play or played for the Steelers & Saints, so I still cheer them on!
When I was little I wanted to be Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.. is it too late for that? 😉 Also, my man Greg McElroy’s daddy works for the Cowboys, so I gotta give props.

Little known fact about moi: One of my childhood dreams was to be a Dalls Cowboy Cheerleader. Yeah. Me.
And I despise JErry Jones. Why do team owners think it’s acceptable to try & be the coach too? If they need that much control, why not just save the salary money & not hire a manager?
The Titans have the same problem & it’s cost them the past 3 or 4 seasons.

Haha– I love this! The Jerry Jones hatred is pretty much the consensus among all Cowboys fans that I know.
I used to be a huge Cowboys fan when I was little. I wrote Troy Aikman a letter asking him to marry me. I even had a Cowboys birthday cake.
Now my husband has turned me into a Steelers fan. 🙂
have never been to a game…silly I know. even worse, my husband’s company did ALL the decorative concrete for the new stadium!
Oh no! My dad’s side of the family definitely were huge Cowboys fans, but this girl bleeds purple! I was born and raised a Vikings fan (in MN) and I always will be one. Even when I’m in NY and they don’t ever play games. Even when that big cheesehead was the starting QB.

We thought about going to NY (NJ) for the Cowboy Giants game in Jan but decieded to just go to the one game this year. Cowboys are the most loved and hated team in America right up there with the Yankees. Which I only see fitting as Jerry tries to be the Stienbrenner of Football. I don’t love him but I don’t hate him either. For all his faults he is willing to invest in this team, which is more than some owners.
Oh and you will be fine in NY/NJ at a Giants game its Philly you have worry about. Seriously those fans are just Nuts and Big bullies and as Cowboys fan you would be seriously messed with.

LOVE it! Growing up, I loved the Miami Dolphins because of Dan Marino but I secretly loved Troy Aikman too! HAHA
A girl after my own heart! Major Cowboys fan over here & I’m not even from Texas. Born & raised in Southern California and my husband & I have made a couple trips out to Dallas over the past few years to watch games, tour the stadium(s) and root for our favorite team. We just up and left Cali to move to Texas (Austin) and nearly half the people we told about the move would immediately say, “Is it to be closer to the Cowboys?” Ha! Truth is, it was for a change from the Cali scene. Too expensive, too over rated and getting us nowhere quickly. But it’s not too shabby to be so much closer to our boys now! Just drove down to San Antonio lat week to check out some practice & I CAN”T WAIT for this years team! Gooooooo COWBOYS!!!!

My dad has always been a cowboys fan and the funny thing is his older brother is a big 49 niners fan. So he use to buy us 49 niners clothes when me and my brother was little. My dad would get pissed and never put it on us lol.
when I got older I always liked the 49 niners because it would piss off my dad and I was a brat like that lol. Now my favorite teams are still the 49 niners because they are local to me and I love the New England Patriots. I rooted for the Packers this past season though mainly because of Aaron Rodgers, he is from my hometown where my parents still live. I don’t hate the cowboys though.
The only team I hate are the stinking Raiders lol.
I love the cowboys too!!! Have fun at giants game- wear a helmut and use lots of swear words, lol.
