ITS OK Thursday!

Its Ok Thursdays

Its Thursday y’all! Time for the greatest linkup on the planet…you know the one…ITS OK THURSDAY!!! Grab the button and link up and tell us what’s ok!
ITS OK….
To decide that your 2 year long relationship doesn’t suit anymore
To be happy about all the things you can do now that you are single(read magazines, watch crappy reality TV, see movies alone) Yes I love all of that stuff!
TO still miss him just the same
To be a crazypants who signed up for 3 days in a row of Pure Barre this weekend! WTF?
To be seriously working towards a goal of moving out of the only city you have ever called home
To be terrified at the thought of not seeing my momma for months at a time
Or bestie and monkey
TO think that if I move the Dallas blog girls should skype me in for Tex Mex dinners 🙂
To really enjoy student teaching even though I get paid bubkis seriously NADA …student teachers should totes get paid
TO be convinced that while I was sick I spread microscopic germs all around and they are waiting for me(I had a nightmare)
TO be stoked that Tuesday is pumpkin spice latte day….Will I even sleep!?!?
To not be able to comment on every single linkup every single week…sorry guys I really tried the first few weeks so just know that I will read as much as I can each week and I am beyond thankful to each person who links up and makes this linkup a success! 🙂
So link up with Amber and I 🙂

I took the plunge and moved away from my fam right after college. It was super scary, but I’m glad that I did it. It’s always good to know that you can survive on your own. Of course, I still talk to my mama, like, every day, haha! And still wish I lived closer sometimes. But now’s the time for a change…when you aren’t tied down! If you’re ever looking at the Baltimore/DC area, let me know 🙂

Added to the list of things we disagree on: Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I don’t like anything pumpkin flavored. Now, apple pie would be a different story! 😉

  6. Breakups are totes ok – and it’s totes ok to miss them…even a few months later. Like when you wish they were there to pay for your dinner or carry your groceries up the stairs. : ]

    Love,

I was in a relationship for 4 1/2 years. We only lived together for a few months before we broke up. I just knew that he wasn’t the one. I cared about him, but it was different. I started to see how different we really were and our future just didn’t seem to be the same anymore. So I moved out. It was hard, but it was the best decision I have ever made. Oh, and before our final break-up, we had broken up twice before. I should have learned my lesson then.

OH, and what is this about pumpkin spice latte next Tuesday?! As in, September 6?! Why do I not know about this??!!

First off, look at all of your link-ups!! Awesome 🙂

It sounds like you’re taking care of you and that is awesome– the breakup, the pure barr classes, the moving away from home. It IS hard to move away… but it GETS EASIER. Every visit home gets better and better. I used to cry when I would leave my family… Now I’m normally ready for THEM to leave when they visit, hahah 😉 Enjoy the adventure!!

Hello! I’m a new follower. I would like to say that I hear you with the 2 year relationship. When I first moved to carbondale from my hometown I was in a really bad almost 4 year relationship. I finally got my “balls” back and ended it after moving and having someone open my eyes. Please feel free to stop by my blog 🙂

I definitely agree with you about student teachers getting paid. It’s a LOT of work!!! Other people who do internships in other fields get paid. It has never seemed fair to me.

And I am sooo excited about Pumpkin Spice Lattes!! The closest Starbucks to where I live is at least a half hour away. But now there is a Starbucks in the exact same building as all of my classes!! I’m really excited!
