New Food Addictions and New Running Shoes!

So on my quest for healthy yummy foods lately I have become addicted to a few things and I suggest you go buy them all πŸ™‚

1. Bunny Grahams-got them at Whole Foods(where I do 90% of my grocery shopping) and they are delish. They are mixed honey, choc chip and chocolate. Chad and I ate a ton of them over the weekend. He loves them too πŸ™‚ For 30 of them its about 120 calories. Not bad! After 30 trust me you’re good. You dont need more. A great filling low cal yummy desert!

2. Protein Bars: Larabar Banana Bread and Clif Bar Chocolate Chip: These are higher in Calories usually about 240 each bar. But I usually only eat half or 3/4 at a time. And I only have them after I swim. Since Ive been swimming anywhere from 60-90 minutes(800-1200 calories burned!) I need something right after. Seriously IM starving! These will also be part of my half marathon training. Cant believe I never had them before. I think the high calorie turned me off. I want to try to Larabar choc chip cookie dough but I cant find it anywhere. If you see one and want to mail it to me-I will love you forever and ever πŸ™‚
3. Last but not least Food Should Taste Good Crackers. And boy do they! I bought a bag of Multigrain and a bag of Blue Corn. OHMYGOSH! Soooo good I dip them in hummus(my fav) and seriously most filling snack ever. 10 crackers=140 cals and hummus has hardly any cals in it. So you are looking at a 200 calorie snack max! You dont need more than 10 especially dipped in hummus it seriously fills you up. Let me just tell you I took some to work today meant for my afternoon snack and I already ate them because I have been thinking about them all morning. YUM! These are also very low in sodium πŸ™‚


Also on Sunday Chad and I went to Run On (AKA the best running store EVER) and I got new running shoes. Why? 3 reasons 1. I havent gotten new shoes in nearly 2 years 2. You are supposed to get new running shoes every 4-6 months if you run as much as I do and 3. I have IT band issues and new running shoes were necessary. They were pricey no joke $150 but my gosh these Aasics are amazing! My legs already feel better and I cant wait to show them off to my trainer tonight πŸ™‚
