I found Lovelyville searching for adorable headbands on Pinterest and the owner and I just bonded!
Meet Julianne:
I am a commercial interior designer who works at an architecture and engineering firm during the day. But, much to my surprise, this profession has left me with a need for a creative outlet, as it is more contract documents and less HGTV. So, in early 2012, Lovelyville was born on Etsy. I began making hair accessories for little girls because my daughter was a baby at the time and that’s just where my mind was. Then in the summer of 2012, a close girlfriend was getting married and asked me to make her a handmade bird cage veil, along with flower hair pins for each of her bridesmaids and flower girls. Her wedding was centered around handmade and DIY decor and the accessories I created fit right in to this theme. I LOVED the process of working with her to create exactly what she had in mind for her special day. Since then, I have shifted the focus of my Etsy store to handmade bridal and bridesmaid accessories and I have slowly added to my product offering in this department. Working with brides has been such a joy. There is nothing sweeter than getting an email from a customer telling me how much she loved wearing her hair pin or veil on her wedding day!
Let’s see, what else? 🙂 I live in Oklahoma City with my adorable and super supportive husband, Nic and our two daughters, Brynn who is 13 and Piper who is 2. I have a black lab who drives me crazy. I love long walks and sunsets… haha.
