It Starts With Coffee

When I started blogging circa 2009 there was not a clear cut path for making it into a business. I never even thought of it as something that could become my full time job. Cut to 2011, I was helping a lot of businesses in Dallas I was familiar with, with their social media channels and their blogs. While finishing up grad school the idea came to me that I could take the knowledge I had learned from my blog and turn it into a business. I already had my blog name, A Complete Waste of Makeup, and I wanted my social media consulting business to be a similar name, but not the exact name of my blog. I settled on Waste of Makeup Media.
