Weekend recap

Good Morning lovers!

So this weekend consisted of me helping Chad moving into his new apartment and I have exactly one picture of it I call this mid Saturday progress:
It started Friday when I got off work Chad and I took a load of both of our cars full of stuff to his new place. It was my first time to see it and the first thing I noticed was NO MICROWAVE! More on that later….

We unloaded everything up the stairs down the stairs…repeat…

Then we went to Target(trip 1 of 4) then we unloaded all that stuff. Then I lined all the shelves in the Kitchen and bathroom while Chad put together the new Ikea bookshelf.

Then we went back to his place, showered and went to sleep…it was 2 AM. We were up at 8, out the door at 8:30 I went home and had some breakfast while Chad went and got the uhaul. Then I went to target(trip 2 of 4) light bulbs and more shelf liner were needed. Then a whole foods shopping trip. Then I took ALL of that stuff up all the stairs. I started to unpack boxes and then Chad asked if I would go pick up a microwave(Target trip 3 of 4). They finally got to the apartment with all the furniture around 2 PM. It took an hour for us to unload it then they took a few things he wasnt going to keep to his parents place.

Chad finally got back around 4:30 and we worked on some stuff for an hour or so then we showered, made dinner and were out the door at 7 for the Brad Paisley/Darius Rucker concert. We were only a few rows from the stage and our view was AMAZING! It was like 200 degrees out but still we had beer so we were good 🙂 I also ran into my good friend Melinda, her boyfriend, roomate and brother and I wish I had taken pics of us …sad

Ok I had to have a picture of the guy proudly wearing a Taylor Swift T-shirt…classic

After the concert we went to a party at our friends Baxter and Michele’s house. Sadly when we got there the party was winding down but we got to chat with them and they told us some wonderful news! They are expecting a baby in February! I was soooo excited because 1. I love babies and 2. I adore them and they will make amazing parents. They are such a great example of marriage to us.

After that we were supposed to go to my friend Darby’s birthday party but we were so exhausted we just went home. Woke up again early and went to Chads old place to clean and get the last car full of random stuff. Then we went to Target(trip 4 of 4) for a few random things we needed. Went back to Chads place, had lunch, hung up paintings, and pictures, unpacked a few boxes and then showered and Chad took me to see a movie 🙂 We went to the Angelika film center in plano and saw this:

Seriously one of the best movies I’ve seen in years. Such a great watch its funny, dramatic, crazy. Go see it …we both loved it. And we got to enjoy some adult beverages while we watched it. Then we went and grabbed dinner, and I grocery shopped. Then we came back to my house and watched none other than America’s team!!!

Granted it was a pre season game but of course we won 🙂

I love football both college and professional and football season has officially begun! Be prepared for every weekend recap to involve me talking about Football…did you know that the superbowl is here in Dallas this year?!? Guess what team I want to be in the superbowl…how awesome would that be! Getchya popcorn ready!

Hope you all enjoyed my rambling weekend…

  10. I don’t think you were quite busy enough! NOT! Thanks for the movie tip. I want to go see it, but TJ doesn’t want to go. I think I might just go and see it by myself. Here is to a calmer week!
