Pumpkin Spice…what a tease

I mean seriously its September and I live in Texas so I realize that it’s not fall but all the Fall clothes, the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s and the Halloween/Fall decorations at Hobby Lobby are teasing me….

I want to put on Uggs, leggings and a cashmere sweater. I want to drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte, decorate for Fall and watch a new episode of How I met Your Mother. I want to watch Football and have it be chilly in the mornings when I go for a run….Fall where the F are you?

Do I really have to be tortured til Mid Oct?

I love the pumpkins in the fireplace and all the fall clothes! Um… also jealous of your 80 degree temps, we’re supposed to get a “cool front this weekend as well, but it won’t get below 90.

I’m with you and annoyed at the tease. By the time it gets cool here, fall is over and it’s winter. Boo. I love the Keep Calm sign!

I totally agree! I grew up in Boston my entire life and moved to Texas for school, then married a Texan so I’m still here, but omg what I wouldn’t give for the crisp weather, changing leaves, and fall clothes! instead it’s so freakin’ hot and humid…yuck.

Yep, we get the same thing in Florida. Only it probably won’t be chilly until like December. Fail. BUT I would at Disney World and we celebrate the holidays mega early! The Magic Kingdom had their Fall/Halloween decorations up the last week of August. So I figure if the Magic Kingdom can do it, so can I. 🙂

  10. I love fall clothes and food/drinks, but I’m trying not to rush fall (especially since the calendar says it’s not fall until Sept. 22nd). We moved down here to escape winter, so if no more winter means fall not coming when it does up north, I’ll take it 😉

OMG about Hobby Lobby – I went in there on Monday to check out a sale I heard about and was bombarded with all their fall and christmas items. I was tempted to look and buy but told myself no for now!

Can I love this? I couldn’t agree more and I am in Wisconsin, still having 85+ weather, I do not live in the Midwest for the heat! Fall is my favorite and I want to wear jeans again and sweaters and go pick apples and pumpkins!

Bahaha that’s pretty much exactly how I feel. It’s completely not fair that it’s in the 100s this week! Why can’t we have normal seasons like everyone else?!

We should NOT have heat advisories right now. It’s not fair!

  17. It was in the 90s yesterday and I live in Missouri! You’d think we’d get a little break. At least Starbucks has a Pumpkin Spice Frappe, so you get the flavor but not the heat 🙂

  24. I think I would pretty much give my left arm for a Pumpkin Spice Latte right now. (I’m a righty, I don’t really need it.) I really wish German Starbucks would do it.

  27. Sounds to me like you need a little Chicago Fall in your life. It was low 70s all last week. I wore rain boots and jeans today 🙂 Don’t hate it. But talk to me in a couple months…
