Tips/Tricks to a budget friendly holiday season

1. Make a list (and check it twice) that way you know what you are buying

2. Shop sales/shop online/shop amazon/shop ebay/shop around

3. Rue La La, Haute Look, Gilt Groupe for your female friends/aunts/cousins/moms/
stepmoms/sisters etc its a must

4. Set a budget

5. Set a limit with friends, boyfriends, husbands, fiances you know like lets not spend more than $50 on each other

6. Wait…it will probably go on sale

7. Found something amazing but its too expensive??? See if you can find a copy of it somewhere else…I bet you can

8. Angel tree shop….go buy something for a stranger in need…it wont save you money but it will make you feel like a million bucks! I do it every year and its worth it 🙂

GREAT tips!!! I love giving gifts so it’s hard not to just go crazy but this year I’ve made a list, set a budget and worked out some deals with family to either skip gifts or keep them simple! 🙂

i always ALWAYS do the book buying thing at Barnes & Nobles – and always buy the same book (The Phantom Tollbooth). I love knowing that I’m buying some kid, that I don’t know, the same book that has stayed with me so long through my life. I love giving, just to give.
