First off my babies Anne Katherine and Lauren. I nannyed for them for 3 years and they became like little sisters to me. I talk to Lauren most everyday she is a Sophomore at Rhodes College. Anne I talk to a lot as well she is a Sophomore in High School in Plano. I see them all the time and I have very close relationship with the entire family. Their grandparents refer to me as grand child number 3 🙂

Then I have Stacie and Dana who are like my big sisters. They were friends of my sisters a LOOOOONG time ago and babysat me when they were in middle school. I reconnected with them a few years ago and know I can go to them for advice, to talk about whatever, for girl time, drinks, and just to be there. Its been nice at this point in my life to have them because as I become more of an adult, get married, have kids, etc I like to know I have these two to lean on. I feel beyond blessed to have them and I think of them more as sisters than as friends, or anything else. I love coffee dates with Stacie, I love the night the 3 of us got hammered on wine and talked for hours, I love that after a breakup they took me to dinner and made me drink tequila and I loved getting to visit Dana last weekend and meet her precious baby girl. I hope they know how much they mean to me and how much I value them both and look up to them both.

SO these are my “siblings” they say you make your own family right? Well this is mine 🙂
I am so lucky to know such great people!

I have a sister like that too.. Older-half as well. Sounds mean, but when I talk about her, I refer to her as my “faux sister”.. Usually jokingly but, as you said, I barely even think about her most days.
But, I think it’s awesome that we can find people who mean as much to as a “real” sister could. Friends are awesome, sisters by choice, right? 🙂
By the way, I never got around to thanking you for the scarf – it is SO cute! And perfect for fall! 🙂
How awesome to have such wonderful people in your life!
How great to have some older and younger (almost) sisters 🙂
Have a great weekend!
That is awesome to have such wonderful ladies in your life!
Love the hats 🙂
You are very lucky to have such wonderful people in your life! And I love what you said at the end- you make your own family, sometimes that can be so true!
Those look like some amazing women to have around you. I’m sure they feel just as strongly about you!
I think Lauren and I went to the same highschool. Was it in Dallas, Tx? An all-girls private school? Small world. I hope you are having a great week! xo
Like-family can be so much better than real family sometimes! Glad you have such lovely ladies in your life!
I tagged you and you should definitely do it or I might stop blogging again. Just saying.
You have some amazing people in your life…I have several siblings too who are not related to me by blood and they are just as great!
