I was SO pumped when Neely asked me to kick off this fun series. Is
she not the most creative person ever or what?! I mean, the girl kicks
butt at coming up with blog ideas!!

With a mixture of sarcasm and reality, let’s get started!
DO: Have a tampon nearby at all times.
Let’s be honest, nobody wants to get caught in the red. (Ha, get it?!)
I always make sure to have those little stinkers stuffed into my
purse, my car, my locker at work, my husband’s hunting bag…basically
everywhere.

DO: Spread a little kindness.
Whether it’s baking your coworkers cookies or buying your husband that
watch he’s been eyeing, take a little time to do something for someone
other than yourself. It can even extend to your mailman, bus driver,
lawn man or Starbucks barista (for you, Neels!) ; ) Everyone likes to
be thought of and loved on.

DO: Try out new fashion trends.
Confession: when I first saw/heard about skinny jeans, I thought they
were the ugliest things I’d ever seen. I laughed in their
face pockets. I said again and again that I’d never
wear them…and now they are my jeans of choice every day (when I get
out of pajamas)! Skinnies and boots are my go to outfit. Skinny jeans,
I apologize for every doubting your amazing-ness. Please forgive me
and send all your friends to visit.

Sometimes we get jaded and heartbroken and we promise ourselves to
never let that happen again, but they best way to life live is with an
open and loving heart. It’s hard, but that’s how we end up where God
intends us to be. Trust Him!

DO: Pamper yourself!
My little gifts to myself include nail polish, cheesecake, Starbucks,
jewelry, brownies and diet coke. And maybe occasionally a new dress or
ten. : ) And hopefully those blue skinnies soon!

HAHA I love Megan! Such a great list! I do believe random acts of kindness are important and my go-to outfit are definitely skinnies with boots!

My boyfriend already kept a tampon in his hunting bag when we met because, and I quote, “they make good fire starters.” Apparently the generic, gas station brand are the best. *eye roll* Men.
