5 Minute Makeup

So we all have those times that we need to throw on a full face of makeup(or seem so) in just a few minutes. Either we are running late for an appt or work, there is a date night that comes up or your best friend calls and wants to head out for happy hour.

These are my 5 Minute Makeup must haves and tips

5 Minute Makeup

So to get the 5 minute makeup going first moisturize your skin with your moisturizer of choice.

1. All over the BB Cream. The above is my favorite but any BB cream will work to give your face the all over coverage it needs.

2. Take a concealer, I have the NARS above one, but I also love erase paste, bobbi brown and mac concealers and cover the spots that need covering.

3. Take Benefit Watts Up or Benefit High Beam and highlight under your eyes and above your cheek bones with a little highlighter. It will give your face a bright glow that will look like you spent an hour doing your makeup.

4. Next take some fabulous blush, I chose NARS Angelika and apply the blush generously.

5. Curl your eyelashes! I love the eyelash curler above which is by tweezerman. THE BEST! Then apply some great Mascara. For quick makeup I prefer Maybelline The Falsies in Very Black.

6. Lastly you need a great dark gloss for those lips. Any of Revlon’s super lustrous glosses will work. This will give your lips a fun pop.

There you have 5 minute makeup or even less! You can be out the door and look like a million bucks without spending a ton of time getting ready! Who doesn’t love a time saver?

What are your getting ready quick tips?

I have a pretty simple beauty routine that I follow and one easy way I do that is using the compacts that are meant for green eyes and have three or so colors in them. So then I can do each side and middle of my eye from one compact. Makes it easy 🙂

Some BB creams I have tried leave me feeling greasy. Does this one do that?

My beauty routine is pretty simple. I use only lipstick, especially, on Summer. I’m pretty allergic to creams and powders.

Your five-minute routine looks very similar to my “date-night” routine…. Clearly I am slacking in the primping department… 🙂

  14. My daily routine is pretty similar… I moisturize, bb cream, eye liner, mascara, eye shadow and lipstick… I usually only wear blush if I put on foundation. Sometimes I even skip the bb cream.
