I am a self described lipgloss junkie! The thing is there is just so much out there. So many fantastic options to choose from that it’s hard to find one you love more than the others. I have a ton I recommend to people when they ask for good lip-glosses but you don’t need to break the bank to make your lips look fabulous. Today I want to show you a few of my favorite Splurge vs. Steal lip-glosses.
1. Splurge: NARS lipgloss and Steal: Neutrogena Lipgloss. I am comparing these because they are very similar in consistency and wear. I love them both and while I do own both I find myself gravitating more towards my NARS one. The neutrogena is great but something about the NARS one for sure wins here. The colors above are the ones I have and they do match almost identical but like I said the NARS does last longer and has a less sticky feel to it.
2. Splurge: YSL and Steal: Revlon. OK the colors above are not the ones I use but those are the styles. I will say the YSL is fantastic! I have had it for a while and I use it on special occasions but I do love the Revlon glosses a lot more. For one thing they are about a 10th of the price and also I have a ton. I wear them over lipstick and on their own and they hold up amazing. They do not fade or come off easily and they are not sticky. Basically they are everything I look for in a great gloss and I don’t have to break the bank to get them. For this I would go with the Revlon!
In the end I think my two favorite lip-glosses I own(and I have way more brands than the ones above) are for sure Revlon and NARS. Those are the ones I will buy again and again. I think they are worth the money and the best quality.
My biggest issue is finding the perfect shade of red. I’ve been on the hunt for FOREVER and I can’t seem find one I love. I have a few I like but nothing that makes me feel like, “Oh yeah! This is IT!” It’s a never-ending struggle.
I love lipgloss too! I’v been using really inexpensive ones lately because my daughter keeps stealing them. She “borrowed” an expensive one once, and that’s when I decided to put those away for now, lol.
