We all have those things we can’t make it through the day without. Sure there is sleeping, eating, breathing, showers, our loved ones etc. But my Daily Life Staples are more what I personally need to do everyday to feel great.
1. Green Monster Smoothie: I have one every single day! I hate when I travel because unless I can find a place that makes them or even a juice place close by I don’t get to have one. But on a normal day Andrew and I usually have a Green Monster smoothie right when he gets home from work. You can find my recipe here.
2. My Q&A a day book: I have grown over the last several months very fond of this little book and it’s questions. I love being surprised by the questions each day and really thinking about my answers. I try to do this first thing in the morning to get my mind going.
3. A hot Latte: I make mine at home in my Keurig Rivo and usually have 2-3 a day. Usually the third is a decaf.
4. To Do Lists: My favorite ways to write my to do lists are on fun notebooks I find at Target or online in random places. I love Sugar Paper Lists, Ashley Brooke Designs and more.
5. Working Out: NO matter if it’s in my living room, at a barre studio, or at 24 hour fitness I need my daily workout. 15 minutes or 90 minutes it doesn’t matter but I need to be active daily.
6. My nightly routine: Washing my face, brushing my teeth, flossing, bobbi brown under eye cream, philosophy hand cream and then EOS lip balm. That is how I roll right before bed. I also fill up a giant tumbler with Smart Water. I feel so much better after all of that.
I think we all have little things that get us through the day and make us feel healthy, beautiful and ready to take on the world.
What are your Daily Life Staples?

I have a Q&A book that one of my best friends gave me before my wedding and I loved it, and then I got distracted with every day life (and honeymooning) and kind of forgot about it. It’s still sitting on my nightstand. Maybe I should try it out again
My day just isn’t complete without a good workout and cup of coffee! Great list!
I have to have my vitamins daily. I can tell if I miss a day, the energy just inst’ there.
I always have a bowl of SF maple and brown sugar oatmeal with a tsp of natural peanut butter and a sliced banana for breakfast. It’s so good! And I exercise daily, too.
Fresh air is definitely a daily staple for me. Even if it’s just opening the windows or stepping outside to watch our dogs play, it’s a must!
My daily life staples include social media (i’m a bit of a junkie), a nightly bowl of ice cream, some sort of fitness and cuddles with my hubby and pets
I wish working out was one of my daily musts. I just can’t seem to find a good groove. Or the will to care about it.
I love green smoothies! I used to be so good about making them each day, and I got out of the habit! Maybe I’ll have to start again!
I have to find something pretty to photograph if I possibly can. It’s my version of a gratitude journal.
Tea, can’t get through a day without at least one cup.
A hot shower, best way to start the day.
Cuddles, be they from a person or an animal, have to have them!
You should get a travel blender so you can make your smoothies on the road. I have several people who do that at my hotel.
I like my to do lists, but what I like the most about them is crossing something off the list. It makes me feel so accomplished!
I just posted about green smoothies today! They look so addicting!
My daily necessities are a cup of coffee in the morning (I can’t start my day without it) and doing at least a few rows of knitting.
I’m such a green smoothie girl!
Love all of this – especially #5!!!
