Tuesday Ten

TuesdayTen

Hey friends! I hope you all had a good Monday. Mine was very go go go with work and blogging. Always a good thing though makes the day go faster. I wanted to share my Tuesday Ten or rather Ten things I am loving, thinking about, obsessing over etc this Tuesday.

1. Alt Summit: I am attending my first Alt Summit in January and I am so excited. I am rooming with Kendall and I know we are going to have a blast. Hopefully we don’t freeze to death in SLC!

2. The Story of Natalie’s Cakes in Ferguson. I donated and I am so glad people are coming together to help this woman. I hope others are being helped as well.

3. Organizing and Cleaning: Something about this time of year always makes me want to clean out my closet and organize, donate and sell items. I went on a major scarf binge yesterday when I realized I really have far too many scarves. Hopefully a lot of people will be warm this Holiday season.

4. Black Friday and Cyber Monday: I scored some great deals for gifts for Family, friends and Andrew and I am so excited to see everyones faces!

5. Pure Barre: I am back at it with Pure Barre since my friend Britta opened her studio here in Dallas. They had an awesome black Friday special and I hooked myself up with some classes. No holiday weight here!

6. Gorgeous Vases: One of my moms friends had this vase made for us for our wedding and these flowers looked perfect in it!

7. Bath and Body Works Candles: OBSESSED! I have burned through 3 Pumpkin Gingerbread candles and one Twisted Peppermint. At least our place smells AMAZING.

8. The Theory of Everything: I do not think I have been so excited for a season of movies as I am for this year. Between the Theory of Everything, Into the Woods, Unbroken, Cake etc. So many great ones to see.

9. Taking Time: I have been taking about an hour a day to read for fun lately and it’s been so great. I love making a cup of tea or hot cocoa and reading in our reading nook or on the couch. It’s just nice to have the quiet and to enjoy stress free time.

10.  Fun Notebooks: NO joke I have a notebook obsession and I may have asked for 4 of them for Christmas. Seriously when did I become such a notebook hoarder. Check out Ashley Brooke Designs for my favorite ones!

What are you loving? Obsessing over etc this week? Or share your Tuesday Ten in the comments!

I love the “Taking Time.” It’s something we can all benefit from, especially when things get so busy this time of year. Reading would be my pick too!

i love this post – as I LOVE lists!! I need to hit up BathNBody Works stat! Those scents sound delightful. I am so with you on taking time out of the day for yourself, whether it be reading a magazine article, enjoying the fresh air, a solo movie date (you know I love those), or drinking a yummy cup of coffee! I think we as women focus on giving to others, but also need to remember ourselves! Cannot wait until Saturday!!!!!

Bath and Body Works candles are amazing! Yes, some can be hit or miss, but the majority are so good and come at almost half the price of Yankee Candle (which I also love, but, y’know, budgets). I’ve got Leaves sitting on my coffee table right now!

For me, I’ve been obsessing over baths and pamper sessions. We just bought a new house and I have a proper garden tub for the first time in my life. Needless to say, I stocked up on just about every Christmas bath bomb, bubble bar, and bath melt that LUSH carries and have been capping off most of my nights with a bath, some Gilmore Girls, a face mask, and a hot drink. Heaven!

How do you like Pure Barre? Never done it, but have always wanted to try!
Beautiful vase. So nice, love the personalized touch!
What deals did you score?! Must see!
Counting down the days until Saturday…(:

Every time Bath and Body Works has their candles 2/$22, I buy so many. My husband thinks I go overboard but really, that’s not even possible, you know?

  32. Taking time for reading is definitely the best!! I am a total bookworm, so I always try to set aside a little time every day to read. I find it so relaxing, especially in the winter, to sit with a book and a mug of hot cocoa and read a good book!
