Hi friends! Happy Saturday. I do not usually blog on Saturdays but special times call for a special post.
So I am one of those people who is not always super comfortable in my own skin. Especially this time of year when my Instagram is flooded with bathing suit pictures, sundresses, and short shorts. My biggest part of my body I do not like is my thighs. Ugh no matter how many workout classes I take or miles I run my thighs just are there being not perfect. I have huge hips and with that comes huge thighs and they will always be there. I was recently introduced to a procedure that could maybe make myself and some other people feel a little bit more ready for swimsuit season and short shorts. CoolSculpting® is that procedure. The CoolSculpting® procedure is the completely non-surgical, clinically proven, safe and effective way to freeze away stubborn fat for good without surgery or downtime (YAY). It is FDA cleared in the U.S. for three areas of the body – the abdomen, flanks (also known as love handles), and the thighs(AKA my problem area). The CoolSculpting procedure is the only cold-based, non-surgical body contouring treatment that is cleared by the FDA to treat unwanted fat that is resistant to diet and exercise. Remember this is NOT plastic surgery. This is not something in which you will have to miss weeks of school or work or be “out of commission” for. The CoolSculpting procedure is VERY safe and effective. More than 1.5 million CoolSculpting treatments have been performed in over 70 countries around the world.
Some of my favorite ways to get bathing suit and Instagram ready as well are:
1. Take a new workout class. My favorite is pure barre but I also love Pilates, Piyo and Bodypump.
2. Try to drink your weight in water everyday. If you weigh 120 lbs drink 120 oz. It’s a good trick to keep you hydrated on those hot days! Here are some of my tips for drinking more water.
3. Make sure your plate is half veggies! I love veggies bowls of kale, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, some shredded chicken or turkey and brown rice. Such a yummy meal!
4. Get outside! Go for walks with your significant other or a good friend, head to the park, ride a bike. It’s gorgeous outside this time of year.
What are your tips for getting bathing suit ready? Is CoolSculpting something you would try?

That is pretty cool. Ive heard so much about it, but I kinda afraid to try it out.
I used to be very concerned with my huge thighs and my cellulite. I used to starve myself or workout constantly, but the cellulite never went away and if I gained more muscle in my thighs they’d just look bigger. I finally came to the point where I realized… this is my body. It’s never going to look like so-and-so’s body. There’s no reason for me to feel bad about my body, because if I do it will be a constant life battle. Cool-sculpting sounds neat, but I now like my thighs the way they are. 🙂

This is definitely something I’d like to look into. I’ve been eating healthy and have lost some weight, but there are somethings that will never look the way they did “pre-baby.” Thanks for sharing!
