Oh Heyyyyy
Happy Friday all!
Today is a very exciting day. I am going to the 2nd grade class party with the kiddos I was student teaching and then my sexy boyfriend is graduating tonight!!! YAY for MBA!
Anyways….not much on TV this week guys….gonna have to get creative with these posts….
So I am going to talk about award shows:
Every year my mom and I hunker down for the 6 award shows we love: Emmys, Critics Choice, Independent Spirit, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards and OSCARS!
In the weeks leading up to these when the nominations come out I get pretty excited! I always wake up early and cant wait to see who the nominations are…until this year.
When I just plain forgot.
I was preparing myself to feel sad and disappointed but honestly I just didn’t care that I didnt see the nominations live. I read them an hour later online.
I will tell you that we do still go see ALL the movies nominated. Even the ones I have no desire to see and a year later are still traumatizing me …Im talking to you Black Swan.
So be sure to look for my predictions for said award shows every Friday before one airs 🙂

Of course I watched Dexter. Talk about him pissing me the hell off lately! He is falling off his game!
I want Albert to win also! I feel like this season is just like last season and instead of everybody following Boston Rob, they’re following Coach. It’s kinda boring. Hopefully, next season will be better.
SHHHH!!!! I need to catch up on Survivor. I haven’t watched it yet this week.
Also, I DVRd Black Swan so the husband and I could watch it. Oh my! O.o We didn’t finish the movie.

i am so nervous for the Dexter finale! i can’t wait! I am mad that the Emmy’s didn’t nominate Dexter or Michael C. Hall at all. but i will still watch…love those shows!
Black Swan was WEIRD and not at all what I was expecting. And the end….I was just like, “Huh??”
OHemgee.. My roomie and I had a WHOPPER argument this week where she decided to cancel cable b/c “she never watches it.” So, now we compromised and got rid of some channels. Blerg. haha.. So my boob tube might decrease a little bit, but not much. Sheez. And I still can’t watch Black Swan! I know what happens and I’ve seen the previews, so I just can’t bring myself to watch it… haha..
and ps.. YAY for Chad graduating!!
Ugh– I’m not excited about watching all the nominated movies this year like I was last year. Especially if it means I have to watch War Horse…
