I get to interview a Bridezilla!!!!! Mind you I had a hard time believing this girl who’s blog I read could be like any of the girls on that show….
Do you read Krystal’s blog? Well if you dont you should because she’s super sweet and bonus she is on the season premiere of BRIDEZILLAS!!!!
She contacted me last week and asked if I wanted to include it in my next Boob Tube Babble post…I said hells yes…so I sent her questions, it got run by WE PR….for shiz…I felt important…and now for your reading pleasure….

1. How did being on Bridezillas come about?
I actually received an email about applying for the show. I must have given my email out to some wedding listserv at a bridal show. I was curious so I *had* to click! I sent over my information and the casting agent called me the NEXT day. I guess they liked my story!
2. What was the weirdest part of being filmed through the process of planning your wedding?
You eventually forget the cameras are there and then you’ll realize “Oh, crap, I just said that on air!” It was kind of neat to have a television crew follow you around while you get pedicures and your hair done. It made everything feel more important.
3. How much of the planning, prep and event was filmed?
The camera crew came down a week before the wedding and filmed me doing all my wedding chores–making my bouquet, getting my hair trial, my bachelorette party… they saw it all!
4. What made you want to be on bridezillas?
My wedding was definitely not traditional and I thought Bridezillas would be a good fit for my friends & I. We had a great time doing the show and I’m glad I participated. It was a memorable experience!
5. How did your other half respond to the experience?
He agreed to be a part of the show and seemed curious too. I mean, it’s not every day that you get to be a part of a reality television show.
6. What was the most fun part of being filmed?
The most fun part about the experience was feeling famous and important. Going tanning wasn’t just a chore the week before the wedding–it was something crucial to the wedding planning process. Everything just felt important and more special. Having a camera crew follow you around makes even the littlest things feel pretty cool.
7. Any regrets?
I don’t regret any of it, it was a very cool opportunity to have my wedding filmed for TV!

Krystal will make her television debut on the Season 8 Premiere episode of BRIDEZILLAS airing Sunday, June 12th at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv and will also be featured in the following week’s episode airing Sunday, June 19th at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv.
I had on idea she was on there! She seems so un-bridezilla like. I’m off to go email her about it now.

Crazy! She was my swap partner for the summer swap ha! She doens’t seem very Bridezilla-like….I will definitely be tuning in!

Man, that is so cool. I agree with one of the commenters – she doesn’t seem like a Bridezilla! Definitely will tune in to watch. And how cool are you that you get to interview a REAL LIFE bridezilla and go through WE PR and stuff?!
