Valentines Day does not just have to be for couples. Yes I am in a couple but I still think Valentines Day can be fun for everyone. When I was little and even really through college my mom would always do fun gifts. In my young young years they were cute outfits. In college they were care packages of candy, cookies, a movie etc. Now you can do things like buy a fun gift for your mom or dad, get something for your little cousin, get a gift for girlfriends or even a guy friend you are close to. There are so many options! It’s not just for the couples y’all!
Even A and I don’t do a huge thing for Valentines. This year one of his best friends one groomsmen has a birthday party on Valentines because well thats his birthday so we chose to celebrate with him and celebrate on the 15. Why not? On the 15th we are getting take out from our favorite place and watching a movie or two! Just spending some quality us time! We set a $40 budget on gifts and usually we make each other gifts although this year I begged for a mani/pedi 🙂
Here are my favorite options for Valentines Gifts ON A BUDGET for couples and not just couples!
Kate Spade Phone Case/ Ashley Brooke Mug/ Bridier Baubles Britta/ Naked Glosses/ Jcrew Baseball Tee/ Jcrew Boxer Shorts/ Jcrew Hat/ BaubleBar Cuff/ Essie Polishes/ Kate Spade iPad mini case/ Sloane Ranger Wristlet
So tell me how you are spending your Valentines Day?

Simple dinner and a movie, usually our Friday night ritual as it is. We don’t normally do Valentine’s Day on the actual day, its just another day for us.
I love that arrow bracelet!
I’ve been pining over those UD Naked glosses…have you tried them!!!??? Are they amazing?
We usually try and avoid going out on the 14th… bad service, rushed dinners, etc… not really our speed. This year, we’ll be flying out to CA so I can host a baby shower… and I am planning on surprising the hubs with Book of Mormom tickets for Saturday night… not going to lie, I’m TOTALLY excited about that!
I totally agree..and love these picks!
So true! Valentine’s Day is for spreading Love – it doesn’t matter if you’re single or attached. Put the day to good use and make someone – anyone – you care about happy by showing them that you simply care.
Totally agree- Valentine’s Day should be for celebrating ALL the people you love! I love making my pals sappy cards every year. Our anniversary falls on V-Day (poor, poor husband), so we created the franken-holiday known as Valentinesversary. We’ll be in Vegas for Valentinesversary 16.0!
I love this!! Valentine’s is a day full of love for everyone!! I always say it is a day to remember to be nice to everyone! 🙂 And share the love. This Valentine’s my husband and I are going to make dinner, watch a movie and chill and enjoy one another. That sounds like the perfect night to me. 🙂
I think my kids think Valentine’s Day is more about them!
I agree. Valentine’s Day can be fun for everyone. My kiddos love this day. They have much more fun with the holiday than my husband and I do.
I am right there with ya! My husband and I don’t do all hearts and flowers romance for Valentines day…we save that for our real day of love, our anniversary 😉 But I LOVE dressing festively and making fun treats for the kiddos! Heart shaped pizza and a scavenger hunt, are our annual festivities.
