I was so excited to be a part of this Alphabet Dating Series with my girl Kaitlyn and Sharlee
A and I planned a date around the letter K which at first I thought would be a huge challenge. But Dallas actually has some cool shiz to with the letter K.
First a walk on the Katy Trail which is a fun trial that goes all the way through the Uptown and Downtown parts of Dallas and has some very cool things to see from it including the skyline, beautiful homes and our stop number 2….
The Katy Trail Ice House for a beer and some relaxing. You can also get one of their famous beer-ritas yum
After all that walking and relaxing we were hungry so we drove over to a Dallas haunt that has been around since the 50’s so long in fact that they have a grandfathered in law that you can sit in your car and drink! Yep you can order a burger and fries and drink a beer at Kellers in your car and the cops cant do a thing about it! Although I’d only have one because the cops do watch hahaha.
After all that we made our way to Klyde Warren Park right across from A’s office where you can enjoy live music, food trucks, ping pong, a putting green, a play area for kids, a dog park, and free workout classes all resting above a major freeway in Dallas. SOOOO FUN!
Honestly until this I didn’t realize so many of Dallas’ coolest things began with the letter K.

You guys are so cute!!! I love to go bike riding on the Katy trail. It runs through Missouri too. I need to do this alphabet dating thing.
Hmmm…I love the idea of alphabet dating, makes you have to think outside the box and I think that is super important when planing dates. Next time I’m in Dallas I will have to try out the Katy trail.
We have the Katy Trail in MO too – and Dallas is on my get to list, but hubby will probably only go if we can see a Stars game.
Love this! I’ve been seeing these margaritas + beer everywhere recently. I need to get my paws on one! I love getting creative with dates. Sometimes the bf and I will challenge ourselves to dates (like a full day + night) where we can only spend a certain amount of money. It’s fun to see what new and different things you can come up with that you hadn’t tried before!
