On New Years Eve day I made the decision to go to Blissdom
Its a blog conference in Nashville in a few weeks and I am beyond excited.
I was nervous at first because I didnt want to go alone and I wanted to split the hotel cost so I am staying with these amazingly sweet girls Molly, Rachel and Natalie
I could not be more excited to meet these girls and to meet Maggie AKA gussy!!!
Anyways..
Yesterday in the mail I got a fun little package from Katie! Katie is hands down one of the sweetest girls EVER! Her blog was one of the first I followed. She sent me gummy bears(Hairbo my fav), chocolate, some cute mittens that are currently in my car 🙂 and a sign for my wall 🙂
And also a super sweet card 🙂 Thank you so much Katie it made my day!
Also in the mail this week I got some stuff from CSN. A few weeks ago I won a $75 credit from Jennifer’s blog
So with that I decided on New wine glasses and a new yoga mat
The mat is in my car so I didnt take a pic but it looks just like this one and the wine glasses are Lenox-LOVEEEEE
Now about blog friends: Does anyone feel like, and I know I’ve written about this more than once but does anyone feel like sometimes you can count on your blog friends more than your IRL friends? Its like when you blog there is this entire world of people who “get” you. They get what you do and why you love it and why you share your life online. I have been so fortunate to meet so many of my blog friends, more of which i’ll meet at Blissdom and this weekend I am lucky enough to have one of my best blog friends come visit me!!! Ashley is coming for the day Saturday and I couldnt be more excited to play in Dallas with her!
Then next Tues Ill be in Austin for a few days and I get to visit my preggo BFF I met through blogging!

I just feel like blogger buddies are more social, more available to listen to everyone… my irl friends seem to have their own thing going on and have little time to “catch up” or choose not to. I totally get how you feel!

I totally agree about blog friends. Lots of days, I talk to blog/twitter friends and not even make contact with IRL friends. It’s kind of cool in a way, that you have all these friends from all over the country that you’ve never met IRL. Love it. Have a great weekend w/ Ashley!

I am soooo excited!! We are going to have a blast. So excited to share a room with you!
You will love the Opryland Hotel. It is beautiful. It was destoryed in the flood last May but they have completely rennovated it. It is massive! You must go out in downtown Nashville and visit all the honky tonk bars. They are full of country music wannabe’s. And you will never see so many cowboy boot stores so close together. You should go to the Pancake Pantry over by the Vanderbilt campus if you have time. They have the best pankcakes. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Taylor Swift is a regular there. She lives just a couple of blocks away.
So excited to hear about the conference and your night getaway with the blogging girls!!!
What a very adorable blog you have here! I am beginning to figure this out myself…being a newbie and all. I have already made some friends preparing for Blissdom and I have a very good feeling they will be friends I wish I could hang out with every day. I don’t think you can ever have too many friends, including ones who send you meaningful gifts! Congrats & hope to meet you at the conference. It is coming up very soon and I’m super excited!

I’m late commenting. I registered for Blissdom day one of registration. This is the only blogging community on the web that hits my heart and soul with their words. I have decided that the place where my spirit gets fed best is where my “niche” is.
Which brings this guy, male, dude, to blissdom and I’ve been very slow coming out of the closet because of this male face of mine. But can’t hide anymore – it’s here.
