Today I am veering away from the usual TV recaps(although you can still post yours) to discuss my love of TV bad boys.
Why?
A twitter convo sparked this week about Jess vs Logan on Gilmore Girls between Kate and I. Then it went on about Ryan Atwood, Dylan McKay, etc….
So Here are my fav TV bad boys…
1. IN my heart forever will be Pacey Witter. The ultimate bad boy turned good guy with a heart of gold. LOVE HIM.
2. Ben Covington. Yowza….could there ever be a hotter guy on TV? NO. I think this video is the best montage I have seen of Felicity and Ben. Sorry Noel.
3. Ryan Atwood. OK I am here to admit I loved the OC. I really and truly did. I did not however like Marissa. I loved Ryan and I loved Summer. Not together obvi. But I loved me some Ryan…
4. Jess Mariano. Yep from Gilmore Girls. True Story…I did like Logan a lot too. Dean was never my favorite. He had like NO backbone. But Jess…yummy. And yes I did find the best montages possible for these videos…case and point…
5. Of course I couldn’t NOT have Dylan McKay on here. You know I am a sucker for Dylan…but with Brenda NOT KELLY!!!!!! Nothing says montage like REO Speedwagon.

Ahh! I LOVED Jess! Honestly Dean and Logan were both just too nice! That Jess montage just cracked me up! I am totally with you with the bad boy tv thing – I have just come up with Dameon in The Vampire Diaries, Barney in How I met your mother, and Lex Luthor in Smallville! By the way I love reading your blog, and I am not reading at some weird time of night, I’m an Aussie! 🙂
I loved Seth and Summer, but hated Ryan and Marissa together. She sucked.
I would have loved to get in on this Twitter convo. I am a HUGE Jess fan (although my mom hated him) and I always secretly wanted Rory to end up with him. I guess there’s still hope, right? 🙂

Love me some Ryan Atwood… I still DVR The OC on SoapNet, loved that show! I was never a Jess or Dean fan on Gilmore Girls. I did really like Logan though..
Lol! I was a total Gilmore Girl fan but never was a huge Jess fan myself. I was more for the softies like Dean. 😉
I think I like the good guys on TV just like I like them in real life. My first celeb crush was Fred Savage on “The Wonder Years.” More recently, I’d list Matt Saracen (Zach Gilford) on “Friday Night Lights.” Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) is yummy, but Matt is wayyyy more my type.
I completely agree with Pacey and Dylan…sigh. I loved them!
Oh and I would have to add Chuck Bass would be at the top of my list. I LURVE him to death … I love that he is such a bad boy but with a heart for Blair….Can’t wait to see them together again.
Loved Jess. This post is true and very fun.. I think it is always more exhilarating to like the bad boy.
Oh I love all these bad boys!!! Pacey is my favorite though. 🙂 I’m totally rewatching all of Dawson’s Creek right now! haha

YES YES YES!! I was absolutely in love with Pacey! I loved Ben and Jess too. Ryan never did much for me– Seth was my fave. I never understood why anyone liked Dawson or Dean– they were both so lame.
Oh I loved Ryan on the OC but I loved Seth too, he was just too sweet 🙂 Miss that show so much!
It’s funny because I used to be all about the good boys. I loved Noel, I loved Dawson, I loved Logan, etc. Now that I’m watching these shows 10+ years later, I have fallen in love with the bad boys. Maybe that’s because I’ve dated a good boy, and I’ve dated a bad boy. The bad boy has my heart! 🙂 They all have some “good” in them deep down!

I don’t know if I really consider Pacey a bad boy… but I agree with your list (I just never watched Felicity so no opinion on that)
Meanwhile… anytime I hear the song “Losing my Religion” it makes me think of Dylan McKay and I’m not even sure if it was in an episode or not but it just reminds me of him.
Some of MY fave bad boys are in Spanish telenovelas, they take bad to a whole new level like drug running and murder but somehow they are still likeable and SO SO HOTT.
Dylan McKay still makes my heart skip a beat!

I loved the OC! I was so sad when it stopped I think they could have got some fret story lines going from the point where it ended!
Neely, we have the same taste in television! The only show I did not watch was the OC. Aww, Pacey the best ever!! Love.
