My Goodreads goal for the year is 75 books. My TBR (to be read) list is insane but there are also so many great books coming out this year. This post is focused on the books I can’t wait to read in 2023 that are being released in 2023. So many fantastic books from both new to me authors and authors I love.
Books I Can’t Wait To Read In 2023
Meet Me At The Lake by Carley Fortune: If you were living under a rock in 2022 then maybe you didn’t read, Every Summer After which was Carley’s debut novel. That book was incredible and I can’t wait to read the next one.
Spare by Prince Harry: I mean as much as I am kind of over Meghan and Harry and I am looking forward to reading his shade.
Things We Hide From The Light by Lucy Score: I loved Things We Never Got Over and this is the next book in the series. I love the characters from the first book so truly I can’t wait.
Happy Place by Emily Henry: Emily Henry’s books are amazing so I am sure Happy Place will be just as good!
Final Offer by Lauren Asher: I have not read the first two books in this series however I plan to this month so I feel like I will be really excited to read the third. Everyone says the first two are amazing!
Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez: Abby Jimenez is one of my favorite authors and I always look forward to her new books!
Playing By The Rules by Monica Murphy: One of my favorite books from this year was Playing Hard To Get by Monica Murphy and this is the second book in the series! Cannot wait!
Final Score by Taylor James: Booktok has gotten me excited about this new to me author and new book. I love a college sports romance!

I haven’t heard of any of these books/series before. I love finding new books to try so will be adding some to my list as well.
I love Emily Henry and looking forward to reading Happy Place! I also have Final Score on my reading list for this year. I can’t wait to dive in!

I cant wait to read all books of Dune. I know it’s pretty late and I just watched the movie but I’m so looking forward to it.
Looks like a great list of books, I will have to check into them some more and see if I’d like to add any to my “to read” list.
I can’t wait to start reading Spare. It’s amazing how the world the Royal family as Special people. Harry should speak more.

Those are some wonderful selections of books to keep in mind and check out sometime. When I have more free time, I will definitely read some.
