Hey friends! So its Friday and once again this week seems to drag so I am glad its almost the weekend. Here is my Friday Five so you can see inside the random that is my brain 🙂
1. Veronica Mars: Could not start this any other way. Today is the day when Veronica Mars hits theaters and at 1 PM I will be seeing the movie. I love going to movies alone and this one I am even more excited. Honestly I just need the downtime. Starbucks and a movie ….ahhhh heaven.
2. Scandal: SPOILER ALERT but can we for a second discuss that at least one of my favorite characters got shot last night? WTF? Scandal stop toying with my emotions.
3. My Bridesmaids: I love my bridesmaids. Having my 5 best friends and 3 family members in my wedding is so fun. I went with Michele to get her Matron of Honor dress and she looks gorgeous of course! I am also having a lot of fun putting their bridesmaids gifts together. Obviously I cant share on the blog till after the wedding but I think they will be pleased 🙂

4. My favorite Holiday: Besides my birthday haha but favorite Holiday is July 4th. A and I are taking a little short vaca to Austin and spending the Holiday at the W Hotel on the lake. 3 days for us to relax and spend time one-on-one. Im not even bringing my laptop …true story. I cant wait to lay on hammocks by the lake, eat at Hula Hut, shop at the Domain, and just enjoy a mini vaca with my love. This year is so stressful with the wedding it will be nice to get away. Side Note: 3 weeks later I am having my bachelorette party there too!
5. Migraines: So I take or rather took migraine meds. For nearly the last year I have been on a medicine called Topomax. If your doctor ever tells you to take it DO NOT. I have had the worst side effects. Something called dumoning happens when you first start where you are unable to complete sentences, or remember what you want to say. Then its nearly impossible to wean off of without constant migraines. Also if you don’t take it at the exact right time daily you will get a migraine. I woke up today with one and Im hoping it goes away soon 🙁
Im also excited to have my nails painted some cute spring colors right now Flirt by essie on my toes and Turquoise and Caicos on my hands. Bring on the Spring Weather. Oh and I will not be doing any St. Paddys Shenanigans this weekend. In the words of Riggs and HIMYM “Im too old for that stuff.”

I haven’t been to the movies in a long time, but I have no problem going alone. Right now I don’t really have any plans for the weekend and I’m okay with that. I just want warm sunny weather here in Houston. Enjoy Austin!

I don’t think I’ve ever gone to the movies alone. But I also don’t go to the movie theater very often. I do watch lots of movies at home alone.
And a mini vacation to Austin sounds wonderful!
I just finished watching Scandal from last night…..whoa. I really hope Rosen did not get killed.

I totally plan to try and avoid all the shenanigans… but we live in the pathway of the parade… so inevitably, it always ruins my Saturday. Thanks for the tip on migraine meds… did you see the helmet thing they are now pushing? Wear 30 minutes/day? Eliminate migraines? I’m totally intrigued!

Finally saw Scandal today and OMG! It’s totally James. I just know it. I say that because the other dude, cannot think of his name right now…David knows too much and knows the dirty secrets and would do anything to stay alive. Olivia is behind it all because that was her way of cleaning if all up. Take advantage of me, Jake was so that he could help her out yet again! I need to be in a Scandal self help group!
