Hey friends! This is such an exciting weekend with lots going on and I want to share it all with you so lets get to it in the Friday Five !!
1. Happy Birthday Poppy!! My grandfather, Poppy is 90 years young today. I am very very close with my grandparents and Poppy and I have always had a special bond. He was a big factor in my going to grad school and has always been very supportive of everything I have done. My grandparents also love A and he loves them. So happy birthday poppy! We are having a HUUUUUGE(over 100 people) party tonight to celebrate my grandfather and A’s parents are even coming in town for it!

2. Celebrating 30 part 1: Tomorrow night my parents, A’s parents and A and I are going to dinner at Gemma to celebrate A and I turning 30 next week! Im so excited to have a celebratory dinner with our parents and its such a treat that A’s parents will be in town for this.
3. The Antelope in the Living Room: Ummm have you read this book? HYSTERICAL and so fantastic. Im reading it now and I love it. Can’t wait to read Sparkly Green Earrings next. Seriously if you are married or engaged I highly suggest reading this book!! So many relatable moments.
4. Birthday swag from A: A gave me my birthday gift last weekend and its a bright shiny new Tory Burch bag and I love her. She is a pretty blue color and is absolutely perfect. Funny story he actually bought me a Phillip Lim Pashil purse first but I didn’t like how big and clunky it was and neither did A so we took it back and I picked out this one. Perfection.

5. Big Week Ahead: This coming week A and I turn 30!! Yes our birthdays are one day apart. In the next 8 days there are 4 birthday dinners, and lots of celebrating so for sure being following me on Instagram for all the picture and fun updates!

First, happy birthday to Poppy! I’ve always been close to my grandparents too, even now and despite the 850 miles that separate us. Second, happy birthday to you and A. That’s hysterical that your birthdays are so close together. And the big 3-0. I celebrated my 30th last December by packing my hospital bag awaiting Kamden’s arrival two days later. What a gift he was though! I’ve got to get this book, I’m always looking for a fun read and this sounds like it would be right up my alley. Have a great weekend and enjoy our celebrations.
